Asylum_Kernel_CM10.1_20130403_N8Mali_CWM.zip and Asylum_Kernel_CM10.1_20130403_N8Mali_TWRP.zip published in the OP.

Asylum CM10.1 kernel differs from the official CM10.1 one inasmuch as it offers more governors.
Asylum kernel has parallel versions - CWM and TWRP - and the only thing different about them is the recoveries.
The kernel part is exactly the same in both of them.

This kernel is not overclocked or undervolted.

Make sure you running cm10.1 based ROM. Download kernel, reboot recovery flash the kernel zip file and reboot.
