I made some darkness changes to my jelly bean Nexus too and I have the file in pure solid black, if you want that.

It will look like this:

and by the way, you dont need the apk tool to edit 9.pngs^^
I never do that, since its more work in my opinion. You can easily just rename the file from ...9.png to ....png , then edit everything you like, not only the color^^ and use the draw9patcher which comes with the sdk. After that I compile all my changed 9.pngs with xUltimate-d9pc.exe and I am ready to go

you can download a zip file here:

http://www.mediafire.com/?1nz0trfqz16d5w9

Its for the bigxie jelly bean rom

This zip will give you a little more than just the black notification. You can try it, but if you dont want black settings, camera and black menus, then just open the zip, file and delete the frameworks folder and every app except the systemUi.apk and flash it afterwards^^

Nordpol could I make a request and ask if you could make this compatible with the '32dpi, fastglow, cm-battery, white navkeys' file from this thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747632

If you could that would be awesome ^_^

Edit: When flashing these 2 files 1 always erases over the other /heh

still trying to figure out how to make the weather card and text notification backgrounds transparent as well

Question, Do you think it will work on the Sprint version? It doesn't look like it would mess anything up.

I tried to remove those as instructed but I couldn't flash the zip afterwards, I got an error with a bad file :( . Would you be so kind as to post a zip just with your black notification pulldown please? Thanks :)

Wow, you are quick. I made a Nandroid and then flashed it, all seems to be okay right now, granted it has only been 5 minutes but I love the menus. Thank you so much Nord. I appreciate your work, again, thanks for the help and friendliness.
