Your da man!Alright, after some work, I finally got this to install on my unlocked device following these steps:
1) If not already on stock, wipe everything and reflash to stock .30 update and reinstall TWRP 2.2.1.3. Be sure to backup before wiping.
2) Download the zip from the OP, and extracted it to a folder on your hard drive.
3) Open META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script in Notepad.
4) Deleted line 3 and 4 of the file. The Line to be deleted should read assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "EeePad" ||
getprop("ro.build.product") == "EeePad");
5) Create a new zip file containing all of the files you extracted in step 2, including the modified updater-script file, and copy to your device.
6) Reboot into TWRP
7) In TWRP, under mount section, ensure all four mount options are checked, and internal memory is checked at the bottom
8) Flash the zip file you copied in step 5.
9) Reboot, and enjoy your Jelly Beans.
So all I have to do is download voodoo and then just click protect root and then flash the jb on it then reinstall my apps including voodoo and restore root? Forgive me for being meticulous about this just need to know how to do this properly without hiccupsIf you need to return to stock, you can flash the .30 blob from the Asus website and then do the update with the file posted in the op. Before I flashed I backed up my root with voodoo and when I upgraded to jb, i just restored the root and it worked fine. I haven't had any issues

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that flashing this immediately(without a reboot) after installing the JB update would reinstall root:So all I have to do is download voodoo and then just click protect root and then flash the jb on it then reinstall my apps including voodoo and restore root? I don't see why this wouldn't work. Anyone else want to weigh in on this?
It appears the JB update from Asus modifies the recovery, rendering you unable to re-enter it, or re-flash a new one (for now).
(I can't try this; my tablet is still bricked)
Finally!!! It worked! Device is unlocked, and still Rooted! (Used voodoo OTA)you need to be on firmware .30
use 7zip to extract the 2 downloaded files you will end up with a file named JellyBean.zip the updater-script is already modified
boot into CWM or TWRP
mount /system
install JellyBean.zip
look in the other forums on how to keep root, I have not been able to re-root or install a custom recovery not a big deal for me
but others might not be too happy if they get stuck in the same situation.
Ok so did you wipe dalvek, cache and system before u flashed it on or anything like that. Sorry I'm just being really tedious about this thing, just don't want any mishaps. Finally!!! It worked! Device is unlocked, and still Rooted! (Used voodoo OTA)
Guys , follow intructions quoted above, but make sure you protect root via Voodoo OTA app before you update.

I didn't. But it is recommended. Everything is very buttery so far. :thumbup:Ok so did you wipe dalvek, cache and system before u flashed it on or anything like that. Sorry I'm just being really tedious about this thing, just don't want any mishaps.
I don't think you should wipe system. Firstly, system is where your saved root lives, and secondly, the JB update seems to contain a bunch of patches, and won't update properly if there's nothing to patch.Ok so did you wipe dalvek, cache and system before u flashed it on or anything like that. Oh ok when u say u wipe data do u mean factory reset?I don't think you should wipe system. Firstly, system is where your saved root lives, and secondly, the JB update seems to contain a bunch of patches, and won't update properly if there's nothing to patch.
I did wipe data, dalvik, and cache though.
I believe a factory reset wipes dalvik, cache, and data -- so you don't have to do them each separately. If you watch the console window, you can watch it wipe each of them.Oh ok when u say u wipe data do u mean factory reset?

ok nice! currently doing a back up before attempting this, looking forward to jellybean *fingers crossed*I believe a factory reset wipes dalvik, cache, and data -- so you don't have to do them each separately. If you watch the console window, you can watch it wipe each of them.
US onlyDoes the method posted in this thread work for the WW version as well or is it US only?
Just know that once you've flashed JB -- you won't be able to get into CWM Recovery or TWRP, and reflashing either isn't advised. Currently there are at least three people(including myself) who have completely unbootable* units after attempting to flash a recovery once JB was in place.ok nice! currently doing a back up before attempting this, looking forward to jellybean *fingers crossed*
