It's really not in our realm.

All custom ROM teams abandoned pie pretty much when ten source was released (AEX being notable as only one to continue so far) .

We will continue with updating Lineage based ROMs if we can (as they will backport updates from ten) but the core team of other custom roms not integrating security fixes (and the necessary fixes that come from them) makes our job untenable.

They do this as they work on newish hardware which has been quick to bring up ten with. However they care not a jot about efforts required to bring up their roms on 6 year old obsolete hardware.

Once again you wade in and show your ingorance.

All i was doing was asking a question simple as that. I was curious with what you had to say about it. I am not forcing you or demanding you continue pie based roms. Its your hobby just in my opinion i don't care about android Q. Your roms are great but i prefer to stay on nougat because i have no issues where as with pie i get more overheating and more speed issues. Also waiting 15 minutes just for all my music to show up with my sdcard in the phone is not a great feature and it resets my music list on every boot as where nougat this issue is not present. I really want to thank you for everything you do. I still love playing with your roms every time you release new updates or new roms. Just right now i have really been enjoying crdroid nougat. I don't have any ignorance i am just really grateful for the work you have done for the s4 community:)

It just makes more sense to me in my opinion to just focus on pie rather than work on Q but i am grateful for anything nonetheless. Cheers buddy:)

edit: actually now after reading my post i apologize i edited out the extra dumb stuff i said when i was being ignorant. I don't know why i said it like that sometimes i don't understand what i say lol:)

Hello everyone. I would like to know why only Havoc, DotOs, Liquid remix roms Pie don't work on my I9505? All the other Pie roms work, while these 3 when you start the phone the first time after installation, as soon as I turn off the screen in standbye and turn it on, the touch no longer goes. If I then restart and unlock it immediately, the touch works until it goes back to standby. I have also tried old rom versions or go back to firmware but nothing always the same problem! Solutions? Please

@Buff99 is labeled as "contributor"... contribution can be anything else than coding. if you need more explaination about how buff involved on that rom, do not hesitate to ask :)

    Uhhh!
This is an old story 2 months ago, when I was thinking about changing stock to a custom ROM
and I was surprised by Buff99's categorical response for Jeron96 that there will be no fix Hovoc with android 9 and that Havoc with android 10 will not be created.
This is how the decision maker responds.

    That's why I asked Buff99.

However, after reading your post about the camera I decided not to change to a custom ROM.
Thanks to this, I am still a happy user of android 4.3 in everyday use.

Thanks for the answer, I know that the latest version works but it has practically no customizations, in addition it has many limitations on the firmware while the Liquid Remix has many customizations and I like it as a style. For now I am trying to improve the kernel, I am using the one from the Resurrection Remix rom always Pie which works pretty well.

But it is the third display that I try and I don't think they are Chinese, you can see if they are. But I always have the same problem.

the ROM has a call error I want to call and the calling application stops and it's worth it with other applications and it does not work
You can fix this call issue by changing the telephony, teleservice and telecom apps in system/priv-app folder with these...[unfortunately I get error message from xda app when I try to upload the telecom.apk file] and then you set Phone as the default app for calls

Why work so early on Q and abandon pie? In my opinion no one should be working on Q yet. It just came out so give it some time before making roms based on Q. When devs work on newer android versions when they just got released that really annoys the heck out of me. That's one of the reasons why i prefer to stay on crdroid nougat for my s4 and i stay away from your builds. Be happy with pie and please continue supporting it until all the quirks and bugs are fixed:)
