What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system we ported some changes from Cyanogenmod and CodeAurora repos.
Please do not ask for features to be added because we're not going to add more to keep this ROM small, fast and pure.

First time or clean install:

Download the ROM from the link above
Download GApps package for Nougat 7.1
Download ThemeReady GApps package for n
Put the zip files on your SDCard
Reboot in Recovery
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Select "Install zip from SDCard"
Choose AOSP ROM zip file
Choose GApps zip file
Choose TBO GApps zip file (needed for complete theming of some Gapps with OMS overlays)
Flash
Reboot system

I just gave this rom a try

It's good but has a really big lag. Everywhere and all the time. Really annoying

Other minor things I would like to see:
1. Remove shadows/elevation from settings sections titles. It looks fugly and they are not included in AOSP.
2. The "Mobile data disabled" thing in settings still has the old teal color

3. Please add an option to remove app icon from toasts. It isn't from AOSP either.
4. Please add an option to change lockscreen shortcuts.
5. Please add an option to show arrow keys while using keyboard.
6. Please add an option to hide keyboard selector icon from navigation bar when keyboard is shown.
7. Please add partial screenshot feature. Better if you enable long-pressing screenshot option in power menu to create a partial screenshot.
8. I have seen 5 display sizes in other ROMs, but this one only has 3, please add the others.

Please fix and implement these things soon. Thanks in advance.

To enjoy those features I recommend you use CM ROMS. OP had already informed that no features will be added. It will be a pure AOSP to keep it small
