whats working:

• wifi
• sim card and calls
• UI
• adb
• charging
• USB MTP
• audio
• microphone and audio rec
• reboot/shutdown via menus

whats not working:

• camera as always but i know how to fix
• home button to wake
• bluetooth. somehow i thought i had it fixed but...

Got it up and running with LOS recovery. What I've noticed so far in 10(-ish) minutes of use

- Volume button to wake doesn't work
- Button illumination doesn't work
- Gesture or on-screen navigation doesn't work

But all that seems minor when you think about it - it's Android 12 on a freakin jfltexx!

I'm running jflteusc. I'm pretty sure I can't even flash it.

Works great except for reported bugs.
For a first with Android 12 it's really amazing what you have achieved!!!
Congratulations for a job well done.
Fast and smooth!
Tethering via USB works well too.

nice i'll try it when I get a newer device,because I almost bricked my device with the unofficial twrp 3.5.2-9 recovery when installing optimized lineage 14.1

- Open Camera 1.49.2 --> photo and video work well
- Gravity Screen On Off_v3.32.0.0 --> Awesome (Not needed anymore home button to wake)

side, this is offtopic here, but I managed to install your Lineage 14.1 optimized build, it's blazin' fast! At first it lagged asf, but it needed a restart and now it is fast! The battery is better and I can use my S4 for school finally! Thanks side!

Wow, truly amazing. Your unofficial LineageOS19 works better than official LineageOS 18!
Looking forward for new updates. I'd love to see real dark mode (like the one in Lineage 17) for the AMOLED screen, that we obviously have in our S4s.
