Is anyone able to help me? I'm having an issue where my text messages say they fail to send, but the intended recipient still receives the text message 100% of the time, i've rooted and GSM unlocked my L720 for Metro PCS, am using NAE baseband, and i've flashed this rom as a clean install, everything is peachy keen except for this one thing that i barely want to call an "issue" because the text messages still get sent! but my phone says they fail and pops up message failed tap to retry every single time i send a text, and whoever i texted just replies as normal and i receive them!
The other super frustrating part of this is when i used CM's official 12.1 snapshot, it works just fine with no problems, i REALLY like this ROM and want to continue to use, unless of course someone can tell me how to use current Optimized CM13 with my GSM unlock, as that seems impossible having tried it already :\

But your sim card in other phone about 4 min
Then put it back in your phone
This problem happened because your sim card lost center message number

This seems very bizarre but i will give it a chance, luckily have an old metro pcs phone laying around to put the SIM in
*edit* I put the sim in the other metro phone for at least 4 mins if not more took it out put it back in the S4 and same issue. texted my wife, message says failed, her phone goes off receiving the message -.-

Then choose phone information
Scroll down you will see SMSC click refresh if it gives a code it's fine just click update and the problem solved
But if not in this way you have to search for your SMSC that belong to your network carrier write it and click update

Still no luck, smsc is fine. I send a text message. It says sending, tells me it failed, but the message it still fully sent .....

I used this ROM few months and now flashed i9505's official firmware into my S4 T mobile.
One thing i miss of this ROM is a text message notification in "Notification bar". I want to merge this feature into my current ROM. Is anyone here can pull that thing a backup for me and is it possible?

I can't help on your question however since you mentioned that you've flashed I9505 official firmware on you T-Mobile S4 I've better questions if you can answer
1. Did you flash the full firmware using odin? If yes which firmware (i need the last 3 character) did you flash?
I've been told that one can't flash I9505 firmware on T-Mobile S4, hence my questions.

Installation
If you are coming from the previous 5.0.2 Optimized version or any another ROM, please do a clean install!
TWRP Recovery v2.8.7.0 is suggested for installation
First time or clean install:
- Download the ROM from the link above
- Download Open GApps package for Lollipop 5.1
- Put the zip files on your SDCard
- Reboot in Recovery
- Wipe Data / Factory Reset
- Optional: convert to F2FS
- Select "Install zip from SDCard"
- Choose ROM's zip file
- Choose GApps zip file
- Reboot system
Update from a previous build:
- Via OTA Updates:
- Open OTA Updates app
- Download the update
- Press "Install"

Using F2FS
What it is? Wikipedia
To use it you should first convert your EXT4 partitions through recovery, before installing this ROM.
On PhilZ:- Wipe and format options->custom format options->toggle ext4 f2fs migration
- Format cache->f2fs
- Format data and data/media-> f2fs (Warning: internal storage is formatted, make a backup of your personal data before doing this!)
On TWRP:- Download and install this TWRP version: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982086988952
- Wipe->advanced wipe
- Select cache->change or repair file system->f2fs
- Select data->change or repair file system->f2fs (Warning: internal storage is formatted, make a backup of your personal data before doing this!)
Now you can install this ROM following installation steps in post above87Updates down the road!

Clean install is strongly suggested, especially if you are on 17/08 build.
If you use OpenGApps please reflash the GApps package after you update* the ROM (*but take care of the words rightly above this sentence)
Random reboots? Take a copy of the last_kmsg located at /proc (you need a root file browser or terminal emulator [su -C cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.log]) we need logs!
Still bluetooth issues? Flash this and test, then let us know
eMMC will be trimmed automatically at each boot, note that this could slowdown a bit the boot process but will prevent the ROM from being sluggish time over time. A log for trim is saved in /cache/trim.log, most of the times about /system will show 0 bytes trimmed: this is not a bug as this partition doesn't need trim at all, but has been included anyway.
IR apps issues? No more a fear, just go in Toolbox->IR Driver!
