hehe that's sony :) they are elite they are not interesed on poor people :)

No one will interest on the poor BTW .. But it's not just the poor issue !!
For example next year sony will stop support xperia z and I'm sure about that .. It's not related to how much your device or what is it can do .. It's related to business and just business :)

@percy_g2 I have installed CM11 and everything is fine except I am not feeling the ROM is as smooth as everyone says! maybe it's because of Governer/Scheduler which I tried lionheart/row, smartassv2/sio, hotplug.... but stii not very smooth. this video is from CM11-weekly4 or o new update?
Thanks for your efforts Btw, I cannot post in developers forum yet ;)

If you want to unlock bootloader you should make TA backup (DRM keys). Than you could restore it if you need. By unlocking bootloader you are loosing warranty. If you want to flash ROM than you have to download ftf file for Xperia U (ST25i) and flash it via flashtool (use search topic about how to do it is somewhere there).

If you dont know how to do it so don't do it. Coz you can brick your phone.

I unlocked my bootloader long time ago and i haven't any issue caused by unlocking.

random reboots xpu jb kontini experimentalv12

Hi, i'm having some random reboots using kontini's ( @kontini ) latest jb rom (v13) with full extras package (except systemUI and performance control) running experimental v12 kernel.
Well maybe not fully random reboots. I think it's something related to wifi module. Sometimes when coming back from airplane mode and switching on wifi connection the system reboots. I think it could be a kernel or module issue (not sure. I did not read system logs)
¿Is it possible to downgrade kernel to 9.04c without reflashing whole rom?
Thank you all
(yeah, it's a bad english but i think it is enought to understand what i mean ;) )

I used to have a Xperia U a while ago, it is an excellent phone, atleast I liked it a lot, but when ICS came out for it and I updated, it started with the lagging... Even though I don't have an updated knowledge about the present development, I would recommend you to use pure stock debloated ics firmware, root it, overclock it, also can use tweaks to increase performance.

Hope I helped

As long as you are rooted and bootloader is unlocked you're good to go

The best way to do it is factory wipe, then flash stock ROM using Sony Updater Service (SUS). Moslikely sony had already released JB for Xperia Sola, so youll get it from SUS. IF not i suggest you flash google beanz 2 or SuperJB on top of the stock ROM
