Yep, still works - i've downloaded the system update. Where does it download?

What i'll do it stick it on to my PC, if I get an issue then I'll reflash it back over. Wasn't there a way to stop the system update from showing each time?

Under Cache/Ota I believe.

You can use AIO tools this will rename the updater program so it can run. But all I did was change the incremental back to normal (120829020 in your case) so that I would still recieve notifications for any future updates (although I don't have a back door now (since ICS is rootable anyway, who cares :p))

Also decyrpted it and its weird, like has all the regions in one zip.

ICS 4.0.3 R5 For Sony Tablet S

I've just recived the notification for update for ICS to R5, in the change log since like they added features available for the xperia model to our model :D
Sorry but as new user cant post the screen shot

Xperia Tablet S OTA Update Files Android Versions?

Stifilz,

The OTA update files for Xperia Tablet S that you have listed as ICS and ICS Update, are they Android versions 4.0.3r4 and 4.0.3r5, respectively?

Good question... TBH I dont know lol. I dont have the new tab, just a method modified from condi's AIO tool. I can only assume you are right... I did not know what else to call them :D

I just updated from 4.0.3r1a to 4.0.3r5 using Condi's ALLinONE tool to pre-root and install. ALLinONE performed flawlessly. I did not experience the stalling at the NOW ENTER RECOVERY MODE screen that I experienced twice the last time I used ALLinONE. However, I did have to re-install all of my user apps. No problem, though, I ran Titanium Backup before and after the update and easily got my user apps re-installed.

Yeh was a couple of posts back, thanks for that, will do the same.... Apparently can still update and then root. But why risk it when we have AIO tool, but not AV for the XTab users.
