Hi all,

I was wondering if I'm the only one with this problem. On every single jellybean rom I've ran I get a gallery force close after several pictures and even more with the front camera. I did a full restore/wipe and then cleared cache and dalvik cache and also ran a kernel cleaner every time I flashed a new rom. But every time its the same. Now the weird thing is this does not happen on ICS.

Have you just wiped, rebooted, and then taken pictures before restoring anything?

Yes, after I noticed that this problem was occurring I tested the camera before I restored anything. But alas the problem still occurs.

No issues here with gallery or camera on CM10 or AOKP for me. Which gapps did you flash after installing the ROM? If you flashed either CM10 or AOKP then I would make sure you flashed the Jelly Bean gapps and NOT the ICS version.

Yup, I've flashed the correct gapps for each one. I also checked if it was the current version of gapps and yes it is.

Go into System Settings and clear data for gallery and that should fix it for you then.

I've done that numerous times. It works for like 6 pictures then force closes again. I have also noticed that the gallery crahese much faster when you take one picture with the back then the front. i

When you say your full wiping what are you doing? Alot of people have no idea what a real full wipe is.
A full wipe is a wipe of both sd cards the internal and external. I've done that too. A wipe/factory reset just wipes the phones info and apps but leaves personal items alone (pictures, music, etc.).

ok well lets look at the other options. Have you redownloaded? Flashed without external memory card in? did an extra System Format? Recovery being used?

hmm, I have re downloaded. But never flashed with out external sd in, I'll give that a try. I have tried the extra format. I don't really get what you mean by "recovery being used"?

If you dont know then you are most likely using the stock CWM recovery.
