Maybe something like this will work for you:

http://www.amazon.com/eForCity-Batt...051916&sr=1-7&keywords=htc+inspire+4g+charger

It's a wall charger for the battery. Hopefully you can get it fully charged and then insert it into the phone. I bought one of these with two slightly larger-capacity batteries for $16, and I'm happy with it. This package includes just one regular battery, and it's around $7. Look for other battery combinations if you're interested. I don't know if this will fix your problem, but it may be worth a try. Also, have you tried starting it up in bootloader mode?

Thanks for that - I'm about to go and pick up the phone right now, I don't know what they've tried but I'll try to get the bootloader to work.
Failing that, a friend of mine gave me his old Samsung Google Edition so that's a very good substitute.

Looks like it's dead. :(
No combination of buttons, holding them for 30 seconds at a time, can get it started.
Oh well got the Google Nexus phone working well now at least.

Hi there

Installed it and ... I am not happy.
- GPS not working. No satellites are to be found (iGO 8 or iGO Primo)
- SIM contacts not read (SIM not empty)

Which version did you install ? I've 4.2.2 R11 (because 4.3 are betas) since about 2 months, and it's really good.
GPS is working for me without flashing anything else, and for SIM contact I admit it's really not cool, what you can do is save your sim contacts with another phone in .vcl format, or flash a sense rom and save your sim contacts in .vcl, and restore it in this jellytime rom :)

Hi
I have cm-JellyTime_42_R11 installed. If I try to find a previous version, will they have the same problems?
The phone is moving GREAT. But this two things are bugging me. Are they to be fixed?

---------- Post added at 10:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:15 AM ----------

Have a try AGPS auto injector for gps?

SIM contacts not supported in CM maybe.

I can do it ...sure.
But is that a real solution? Then I need another software installed to help the AGPS and so on.
I hope this gets fixed in the next ...version.
Thanks.

What radio are you using? You need a new radio for GPS to work on JellyBean.

Unfortunately there won't be a newer version of this ROM.

Hello

I have seen something else that is missing. And it goes like this: before the phone ROOTing when I was engaged in a call and the phone was at the ear level, the screen was turning off. And as soon as it was removed from the talking position the screen was turning on. Now this is not working anymore. Can this be fixed?
Thanks.

If you search through this thread I think you'll find some references to how to deal with this. The proximity sensor is responsibility for the behavior you're looking for. My recollection is that there is discussion of cleaning the sensor, as well as an app that can be used to calibrate it.

Hi
I have a HTC Desire HD with cm-JellyTime_42_R11 Android 4.2.2 and I can not find anywhere through settings
a way to be able to see how can I syncronize it with my PC.
If I put the USB cable in the only message on screen is that I can choose to connect my phone as a hard drive.

I have installed:
- HTC Sync Manager
- HTC Sync
- HTC Driver 4.2.0.001
The PC is seeing the phone as: HTC Android Phone USB Device (in Computer management)
I am asking hot to get to the settings in the phone in order to have either: USB Tethering, Charge Only, Disk Drive, HTC Sync Manager, USB Debugging ... I have had this on Android 2.3.5.
Thanks.

It is not possible, at least from what I know. The HTC Sync is HtC software, thus only official rom will be able to support it. Jellytime however is a custom rom and it is not even a sense rom. Maybe you can search for 3rd party apps that can do similar task.

Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium

You can't sync contacts, calendar etc. with your PC unless you use some app for that. But you can sync them with your Google account, or a corporate account (Exchange / Active-Sync) if you then use your Corporate account within Calendar and Contacts instead of your Google account.

For USB tethering or Wi-Fi hotspot, go into Settings, then under Wireless & networks select More and then into Tethering & portable hotspot (may be slightly different as I am currently using CM11, and this ROM is based on CM10.1).

The default connection for USB cable is charge only, if you don't turn enable the option to copy files to/from computer.

For USB debugging go into Settings, then Developer options, if you don't have Developer options go into About phone and tap Build number 7 times.

PS.
You can also tap both Android and CyanogenMod version 7 times each (or a lot anyway) to see other "amusements".

good times

Just flashed the lates RADIO: July 2012: Radio 12.69.60.29_26.17.14.11_M (works for DHS as well) and my iGo is finding my position
So ...this being said, 4.2.2 R11 is great. I only hope in the future, that the SIM card can be read
Thanks again for the fact that you kept and keep our DHDs alive.

Does someone know how can I keep in the left upper bar (where in the right is the battery level, clock, signal strength) the icon for opened apps?
What I mean is that I open iGo and when I hit the Home button or leave the application in the background, there is no way to go back to it (since it is already running) but to hit the icon again (from installed apps).
I remember on 2.3.5, that if I the app was left in the background I could go back to it really fast from the top bar.
Can this be done in this ROM?
Thanks.

Long press home button to get a list of recent apps.

Anyone still have the last release?

Just looking to flash the last 4.3 beta but goo.im is shut down. It's just for nostalgic purposes, so if no one has it, it's not a big deal.
