What did this update actually fix specifically? What bug fixes?

This system update includes:

Security patch
Removal of HTC Logger
Bug fixes

What exactly fixed under those terms/level? no clue

after 5 more days - i take it back. without the kernel the device works fine. it crashed once, i rebooted - and it never happend again.
as was mentioned - i ran the RUU, and flashed the recovery and root. without the kernel.

I also went back to stock again, updated again, unlocked, rooted and flashed custom recovery but not the custom kernel. Everything seems to perform much better on my device including a tremendous boost in battery life. Most importantly however not one sleep death or reboot since.
