I renamed the file to simply "philz" and put it in my ADB/Fastboot folder. Then I opened up a command line, connected via Fastboot USB and typed "fastboot flash recovery philz.img" and hit enter. Easy as that:thumbup:

OK cool.. I've always wondered if it even worked to begin with... But other than that it's a pretty cool looking recovery..

The problem with that feature is its name. What it actually did is fix UID mismatches. But its name made people think it would fix permissions for them in system folders when that's not what it did. Thus, its removal to avoid any further confusion.

It would be cool if someone made an option that actually fixed permissions though . . . lol

It is impossible
You can presume permissions, but never know what they should be: Every ROM is different, many secure apps mess their permissions...
If some one needs that option, then he should hard reset his phone. Else, he'll be spamming every where for bugs in his apps

I do not accept PMs because of the too much hammering
No worries. Just wanted to see what the possibility was of a new CWM now that we have Sense 5. The partition layout has changed now so it's going to take a little modifying to work right, I believe. Check out Captain Throwback's Sense 5 ROM thread in the other development section for more info.

Some one post a link to a post explaining it or a commit where the fstab and partition sizes eventually changed
That way I can fix it

What version number?
recovery.img from latest Sense 5 firmware. I need it
That's to use the stock kernel from it and eventually fix charger if needed, also it will give cmdline parameters if they changed

If you can also post the firmware version (something like 4.xx.x or I have no clue) it will make my life easier classifying it for future updates when needed
