I have a problem with canbus (I guess) car is BMW X5 E70 with CCC system. Does anybody can help me about settings ? Many thanks.

Hi all, the problem is when I switch into car menu, the sound from the android unit stops and the screen is flickering like some app is trying to switch back into android menu, also the phone controls from steering wheel does not work when I am in the android menu but into car menu does. So I guess the problem is the canbus settings. My unit is 8 core 6gb 128 gb from xonrich vendor, android 11 . Is there a way to change the factory setting menu with a previous version, I had another unit without these problems. Thanh you.
PS: The car is BMW X5 2014 (F15)

Hi folks

my problem is quite similar. My car is an Opel Astra H and my head unit is a cheap chinese YT9216CJ. Everything works fine, steering wheel volume controls etc., but if I use the controls for the car's board computer features (ice warning ack., fuel consumption, trip distance and other things), the head unit does unwanted things like turning off for a second, changing radio frequency... this is disturbing.
In the canbus settings of the android head unit is a whole bunch of submenus and I don't know what I have to search for. And it is badly translated though... Any hint for which submenu/function I should look for?

And another question, I'm looking for a nice app/widget/launcher combination to view car stats like coolant temperature, or switch air condition on/off. Canbus apps I found in the play store need BT/Wifi connection to a seperate device, but the head unit has a canbus decoder included, so I think this should work somehow (and look good on the display)

1, it doesn't detect the penel buttons and even if I go into the factory settings (7890) I can't enter which button should do what because it doesn't detect when I press it!
2 when I want to enter it in the settings what car it says app is not installed...
what app do you need?

My unit fits my car perfely, but I cannot change car settings. I believe is related to be a phase 2 Peugeot. My CanBus is HiWorld. Dificult to replace because is 20 pin. Do you know something about??

My car is also a 307 Gen 2 and I cannot change car settings. I guess is starnge that I can select PEUGEOT 307, but no options to choose phase 1 or phase 2. Do you know how to turn around this problem???

Hi!!! If your HU is like mine, try this: Go to Settings, and press in the version. Dont use 8888. Use 3711 and you should access another menu to change Can type.

the system accepts 3 codes so far.
7890+hours=developer mode.
factory settings 8888=few settings
123456=many settings.

The camera is an option that you have to disable, inside OTHERS. I guess is AV icon or something. Search it a bit, You will find it.

Now I can select the car type and the steering wheel buttons work!

it suddenly said to update and not to turn it off...
it restarted at the end and I was able to select the type of car.
The steering wheel buttons also work from there.
