Realme GT 2 Pro
8GB/256GB 9 inch.. v23 firmware..
Is there an option to start with a set of apps like dual screen navigation and tpms?
Now every time the junsun starts with the mediaplayer.
Second question, i changed the default nav ( left vertical top icon) to waze but after a reboot its back to google maps.
any thoughts how to change that?
I tried the"remember" setting in system 8878 to no avail.
If your head unit is not storing your settings this may be worth a look on:

nope, no succes. Tried two alternative launchers, vivid and free car launcher.. both not to my liking and the free car launcher immediately ask for a paid extension for standard tasks.
After that the junsun launcher started rebooting so i deleted the both new launchers.

How is this related to your previous message? Is only Junsun launcher not storing changes or is this a general issue on your head unit? Do stored radio stations surviving a reboot?

If you want to try another launcher I can suggest Agama because it's not overloaded with thousands of functions and doesn't show a Porsche (or other sports cars) like the Junsun launcher.

i hoped an other launcher would solve these issues. But it has to be a nice launcher solving my needs also.
So for now, no stored data it seems and still hooked on the junsun launcher. Btw, not so bad when used in dual screen as i like to do.
I like constant navigation and a screen part free to choose. (weather, tpms, music etc) If the settings would have been stored i should start were i left.

I've stuck with rooting my Junsun V1 Pro (8259), currently on v81 firmware. Never rooted anything before, so following the instructions worked only until the first problem. Some details that may be helpful:
  • The original and patched boot.img have different size, no idea if such a small difference is a problem or not (or if the patched one is bigger on purpose):
-rw-rw---- 1 root sdcard_rw 10485760 2023-06-19 10:43 boot.img
-rw-rw---- 1 root sdcard_rw 10641920 2023-06-19 10:48 magisk_patched-26100_7YcLI.img
  • 'fastboot flash boot magisk_patched-26100_7YcLI.img' results in an error message 'FAILED (remote: size too large)'
The closest to resolve the problem may 'fastboot flash -S 256M boot magisk_patched-26100_7YcLI.img' be, but I'm not certain whether it bricks my HU or does what I think its explanation means at all.
Any help appreciated.

PS:
Digging deeper, getting more and more confused. Magisk instructions states that the V1 Pro most probably doesn't have boot ramdisk, so the instructions in this thread shouldn't work (but I assume they do anyway). Also, 'recovery mode' (for patching a recovery image, according to the instructions) is ticked by default, however it shouldn't be / is not mentioned in the instructions what to do with it.

Okay, it turned out that I got rw access through 'su @#zxcvbnmasdfghjklqwertyuiop1234567890,.' where I needed, so I am able to modify stuff, even if it is rather tedious.
Still interested what is the resolution for my problem above, however luckily it is not that urging anymore.

I have the sleep mode activated, so when I start the car, the junsun is ready with no boot logo....sometimes, with the car powered off and closed, after 2-3h, my iPhone automatically connects to the BT of the junsun for several minutes...any ideas?

Hallo everyone,

I have junsun V1 pro 2+32, car model is Peugeot 207, Canbus is working fine, everything works fine but i have an issue that the car warnings does not show on the display, for eyample if a light bulb is not working then normally would my car beep and show me a warning that the bulb is not working, Junsun does not seem to be able to read those warnings, so when my car beeps i am not able to know what my car is trying to tell me.

Any suggestions?

I asked Junsun support if my V1 Pro does support CarPlay over wireless, but they said no.
Can i use a carlinkit with the Junsun to upgrade wired carplay to wireless?

I'm just learning my aftermarket is a junsun model, and I'm stuck in a bootloop. Would throwing the appropriate firmware on a flash drive help with that? And if so what would I look for to indicate the model. The Amazon listing doesn't really call that part out.

Can someone tell me why calling via Bluetooth doesn't work? everything else works, via Bluetooth, but not calling. The sounds are not transmitted to the car speakers. Is this problem on phone or Junsun device?

Today I installed Magisk 23.0 on 90 firmware. Everything according to the instructions, I did not put a tick in the recovery.

Hi lads.
I would need help. I have a 2/32GB Junsun V1 Pro Car Radio. I bought it 6 months ago and the bluetooth does not work. I click the bluetooth app in the radio then click the search the circle just spins and spins, but it doesn't find any devices (I try ios and android) Car Settings --- Extra Setting tipping (123456 pass) and choice --- Config info after BC6 the bluetooth maybe (Junsun France store tell me). I'll select it when I exit, then it won't save the settings.
Maybe hard reset and all data wipe solves the problem if yes whats the setting code?
I can't even select the logo of the car because it's not in the list ( Suzuki Swift 2009)

Bonjour,
Savez-vous comment faire fonctionner la fonction park assist ?
Le bouton ne s'allume plus , l'option est pourtant activée dans car info .
Merci

Moderation Edit: Translated to English as follows

Good morning,
Do you know how to operate the park assist function?
The button no longer lights up, the option is however activated in car info .
THANKS
