Thanks!,
So it's the red, and yellow that go to the positive and the black to the negative. That red comes to the input connector to the radio from the cambus while the other two come directly from the quadlock.
So I have to connect the positive of the transformer to that red just before the input connector, right?

Connect pin 8 and pin 15 to the positive (+) output and pin 16 to the negative (-) output of your power supply (transformator).

CAN box connection is not needed to start the head unit.

I don't like to talk about wire colors because they may be not identical for different harnesses.

Hi,
I have Junsun V1Pro 4/64, I installed AGAMA launcher, set as default launcher. When turning on the HU, the screen remains dark, no launcher works. I have to press the Home button to start the launcher. After that, AGAMA works without any problems until the next HU start. Well thank you.

I use this to stop the system from closing Agama when I turn my car off. It works great.

Hey all, I don't know a better place to ask this question, so I'll ask here:
Does the V1 Pro actually support WIRED carplay? If so, how does it work? I've read at some posts that suggest using the 4-pin USB cable, but I don't know how to actually get it working. Wireless Carplay works fine, but every so often it loses signal and cuts out for a few seconds. Also, my phone gets quite hot with extended use, so I hope wired carplay can solve some of these issues.

@TorstenH Thank you for the support you providing here!

Do you or anyone else know how to make static reverse camera lines dynamic?
When i installed the camera (original junsun dynamic camera) it showed dynamic line when i moved the camera itself but really not much. When i move my steering wheel it just doesnt move the lines at all.

i tried everything i could find in the normal settings and in the 8878 menu

Usually dynamic reverse camera lines depend on CAN bus information regarding the steering wheel angle. This allows head units to paint the lines on top of a camera picture.

So the question is: How are dynamic lines generated by this cam? At least it's my expectation that the camera itself is "painting" the lines because there seems no additional data connection required. Sure it's not GPS and it's not gradient.

Maybe it's getting calculated by the picture itself but that requires that your car is moving backwards to be able to calculate an angle based on changing pictures.

Does the line change while you're driving backwards?

I found some hints from another camera:
It seems to be important how the camera gets mounted:

The lines getting calculated by the cam based on the moving. This means it will not response with adjusted lines if you only change the angle of the steering wheel. As I mentioned that's only possible if your head unit is connected with the cars CAN bus.
So there is nothing you can change on the head unit itself because in this scenario the head unit is just a stupid monitor knowing nothing about the lines. According to the product description of this camera you must turn off the lines on your head unit if you see too much lines - what makes absolutely sense to hide the static lines painted by the head unit.

I can tell how exactly they are generated but the camera is advertised with it.

i cant test the camera with backwards driving right now its pretty late here :D

Hello I recently bought a Junsun 4g + 64gb version, and I'm having some trouble.

On my unit sleep mode doesn't work how it's supposed to, after about 30minutes when I try to start the radio it will long boot I would like to set it to 3day like I had it on my other junsun unit but there is no option like that, only on and off. I checked the wiring and red and yellow cables are connected right.

Also I was wondering how did you guys make the settings menu in dark mode, i tried to force it through developer mode but that did not do nothing.

With latest v81 my unit also goes to shut down faster. Yesterday after i was putting gas in my car for few minutes. Setting for sleep vs shut down lenght would be really helpful.

Today i tried versions v81, v61 and v50 which I know worked on my other unit but unfortunately, not on this one. I think it must be something in the settings, or maybe canbus

@TorstenH I know you app very well :) Nevertheless after the restart I found the installed apps, so all is fine. With v94 also Android auto works well. Only issue is, I have to find, how to keep the settings (display brightness etc.) also after reboot of the unit. But I'm pretty sure, I'll find the answer in the forum. It's 5 year since my last unit installation :)

Anyone got any idea how to use an existing DAB antenna with this unit? I have been recommended a 'USB DAB adaptor' that comes with it's own little antenna.
You can connect those USB DAB receivers also with an existing antenna. You just need an adaptor to connect your existing antenna.
Here one example for a popular DAB receiver with a MCX connector:
    IMG-20210301-WA0001.jpg
Sure, the other side of the connector need to fit to your car.

    HI Alternativ,

can you explain me which step you did to change the appearance of the aircon screen?

    Thanks in advance
In the factory menu, in my HU 8878, there is an option to enable the appearence of the AC topic on the regular settings menu like the image on tis post:
You have to choose enabled an save on exit from the 8878 menu

In my HU I press Settings Menu, then I press "Infotainment Car" (photo1) then it opens a new page and in Video Section see (photo2) there is an option Ar Condicionado (Air Conditioned) "Fora" means OFF, that is what you need. Hope it helps!
    Thanks @Alfarroba

I was able to get rid of this annoying air screen following your instructions!

I received a MCU update from Junsun to fix my sleep issue if anyone is interested

    After : MCU: SS-G5.230529(VHD)

    Untested but may work:

Put the logo on the root folder of an USB drive by naming it
    Code:
    tslogo.bmp
    tslogo.jpg
    or
    tslogo.png

Enter factory code 5678 and plug in the USB drive.
Thank you. Succeeded, I copied the image to the USB Drive root folder. The correct size is 1280x720 and can be .BMP or .PNG format, the file name can be anything.

    Firmware installed in meantime?
Today I applied the Firmware Stock update procedure. The procedure was successful and the tablet works ok. It remains to put it back in the car and see how it behaves in tests. This was possible for the two users who thank them once again: djborsi and TorstenH. I removed the tablet from the car and made the connections to be able to work with a + 12V DC / 220v power supply. For those who want to power it separately from the car, I put some pictures after the procedure and a wiring diagram. I made a video with the FW update procedure. Because I noticed that the tablet heats up a lot, I mounted a 12V / DC fan, It has the size 70X70mm. and thickness 15 mm. It was from an old CPU cooler. It is fastened at the back with 4 screws as seen in the photo. I put a 40 Ohm series resistor. to reduce speed and noise. I hope that what I posted here will bring a little help to those interested.
