I found some hints from another camera:
It seems to be important how the camera gets mounted:
View attachment 5922289

The lines getting calculated by the cam based on the moving. This means it will not response with adjusted lines if you only change the angle of the steering wheel. As I mentioned that's only possible if your head unit is connected with the cars CAN bus.
So there is nothing you can change on the head unit itself because in this scenario the head unit is just a stupid monitor knowing nothing about the lines. According to the product description of this camera you must turn off the lines on your head unit if you see too much lines - what makes absolutely sense to hide the static lines painted by the head unit.

@TorsteH I tested it and the lines move when i move the car itself or the camera itself. I guess that means getting calculated by the came like you mentioned. Still the head unit is connected to the canbus. I am able to use the other typical canbus features like using the buttons on my steering wheel to change the volume of the head unit etc.

Yes, after I found the description of the other cam I'm sure it works this way.

Activate the lines on the head unit. You should see at least additional (static) lines painted by the head unit. Check if the lines respond to the angle of the steering wheel.
But please be aware that SWC needs not to be realized by CAN - e.g. if the steering wheel keys are connected as resistance matrix directly to the head unit.

I activated and deactivated it a few times but it doesnt really do much..
Though it seems to move a few milimeters when i move the wheel...

Is there a setting to fine tune how much they might move?
Edit: Could also be an illusion of the vehicle moving a little which moves the lines

Just see three options:

- steering wheel angle gets not transmitted via CAN by your car
- wrong CAN setting on head unit
- CAN box not supporting all features

In worst case you have to use the dynamic lines of the cam or the static ones of then hu
thanks in advance for helping me figuring things out bit by bit :D

- Do you have any idea where and how i can find out if the can is transmittig the steering wheel angles or not?
I own a Peugot 207 from 2009..
- Wrong CAN setting i dont think so. if i open the door the head unit also recognizes that and i can use the buttons on my steering wheel to change for example the volume on the head unit.
- CAN box not supporting all features? I dont know what that should mean. its a Junsun v1 pro with 6gb/128gb. i would be surprised if my model would be one of the few ones where the can box isnt supporting that..

Hello, I recently purchased a Junsun V1 Pro 8+256 for Chrysler 300.
I have an aftermarket Sub + Amp. The screenshots on the for sale AD show sub controls. However, In this new 3.0 UI there is no sub control ANYWHERE. PLease someone help. I tried 8877 and it disabled the debugger ??

Below is screenshot from for sale ad. These settings are nowhere to be found.

Instead it looks like this

Hello to everyone. First of all, big thanks all of you for contributing on this really helpful thread. As we all know, there's not much info on regarding the use of the Junsun devices. Secondly, I've purchased and installed this 4g 64gb device few months ago, everything is working quite alright including the backup camera, apple carplay, 4g connection and even the universal steering wheel buttons. I have a "mode" button on my steering wheel and it switches in between radio/video/music/phone bt/av in. is there any way to change these presets with something like radio/phone bt/apple carplay/few different apps? I briefly checked the settings of the satnav but I couldn't find anything. My second little issue is that I cannot connect the ELM diagnostic tool because I cannot access any Bluetooth settings to pair the Elm with the satnav. Any ideas will be welcomed. Thank you

I'm working on an alternative to provide an improved "mode switcher". Watch the video on the first post to get an impression, please.

The preferred option to use AppSwitcher is to use the SWC button which is used to start the navigation app.

Big issue for people with CAN box is that they can't simply remap the mode button to start the navigation app.

I started to address this issue here and in the posts below.
Post in thread 'Junsun V1 - Codes' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/junsun-v1-codes.4282299/post-88598875

Unfortunately I'm getting no response from the community. I need help to get it running because I can't do all the tests by myself.
The idea is to activate the functionality to remap the mode button and/or disable the default mode button and let AppSwitcher do the job.

My second little issue is that I cannot connect the ELM diagnostic tool because I cannot access any Bluetooth settings to pair the Elm with the satnav. Any ideas will be welcomed. Thank you

Hello I recently bought a Junsun 4g + 64gb version, and I'm having some trouble.

On my unit sleep mode doesn't work how it's supposed to, after about 30minutes when I try to start the radio it will long boot I would like to set it to 3day like I had it on my other junsun unit but there is no option like that, only on and off. I checked the wiring and red and yellow cables are connected right.

Also I was wondering how did you guys make the settings menu in dark mode, i tried to force it through developer mode but that did not do nothing.
Can anyone help please?😅
I've been talking with their support for a week now a got nowhere.

What CANBUS code are you using on you're Peugeot 207?

My personal take on the software is that it is too simple. I cannot use any of the car launchers I found (like Agama) because the system apps are only available in the default launcher. It is unfortunate because I wanted an unit with 4G/LTE (mobile Internet is working very well). I was fooled that it had a lot of reviews and a lot of orders, but most were mixed. I put it in a Kia Ceed 2 and I found on a Russian forum that Junsun has been put on a blacklist because there are plenty users not happy with their products. I had some issues with the frame for my Kia, it did not fit, some users said they cut the frame (I cut one of the plastic feet).

In the factory menu, in my HU 8878, there is an option to enable the appearence of the AC topic on the regular settings menu like the image on tis post:
You have to choose enabled an save on exit from the 8878 menu

In my HU I press Settings Menu, then I press "Infotainment Car" (photo1) then it opens a new page and in Video Section see (photo2) there is an option Ar Condicionado (Air Conditioned) "Fora" means OFF, that is what you need. Hope it helps!
    Thanks @Alfarroba

I was able to get rid of this annoying air screen following your instructions!

I think you have a MTK825X device because you're posting here. If that's the case:

Install AppSwitcher and disable the option "force fullscreen system property" you can find in "Screen" settings section.

    Thanks Torstenh,
I installed it in your day (firmware kapud 8259) and I did not work. I have successfully mutated the radio to the firmware of junsun, so I imagine that the application will work perfectly for me
    Greetings, and thanks

I received a MCU update from Junsun to fix my sleep issue if anyone is interested

    After : MCU: SS-G5.230529(VHD)

    Untested but may work:

Put the logo on the root folder of an USB drive by naming it
    Code:
    tslogo.bmp
    tslogo.jpg
    or
    tslogo.png

Enter factory code 5678 and plug in the USB drive.
Thank you. Succeeded, I copied the image to the USB Drive root folder. The correct size is 1280x720 and can be .BMP or .PNG format, the file name can be anything.

    Firmware installed in meantime?
Today I applied the Firmware Stock update procedure. The procedure was successful and the tablet works ok. It remains to put it back in the car and see how it behaves in tests. This was possible for the two users who thank them once again: djborsi and TorstenH. I removed the tablet from the car and made the connections to be able to work with a + 12V DC / 220v power supply. For those who want to power it separately from the car, I put some pictures after the procedure and a wiring diagram. I made a video with the FW update procedure. Because I noticed that the tablet heats up a lot, I mounted a 12V / DC fan, It has the size 70X70mm. and thickness 15 mm. It was from an old CPU cooler. It is fastened at the back with 4 screws as seen in the photo. I put a 40 Ohm series resistor. to reduce speed and noise. I hope that what I posted here will bring a little help to those interested.
