Hi, I just updated firmware on my unit to v28. I had an app installed which rebooted my unit. I think that I downloaded the app from this forum, but i cannot find it. Can anyone help?

In the last few weeks my wireless CarPlay connection is lost, maybe every half hour. The seller recommended that I update to v28 which I did, but my wireless CarPlay is still disconnecting every now and again. Are there any settings I should look at, or possible solutions?

Hello guys,i have a problem with my junsuun headunit,i can use my volume up and down steering wheel Button, previous and next in bluetooth,but when i try to change my SWC commands nothing happend,i am using android auto from junsuun and next and previous buttons are not working,please help

You download the file, extract it from rar, copy the file to usb, instert the usb into your headunit (preferably the usb port with 6pins), then on your headunit go to settings -> car settings -> about device -> enter the hidden settings via code 8878 -> the third or second option will be mcu update -> press it and then press mcu update -> restart your headunit a you are all set.
Please be aware that if you don't know what you are doing you can brick your headunit so be careful.

    @TorstenH I know you app very well :) Nevertheless after the restart I found the installed apps, so all is fine. With v94 also Android auto works well. Only issue is, I have to find, how to keep the settings (display brightness etc.) also after reboot of the unit. But I'm pretty sure, I'll find the answer in the forum. It's 5 year since my last unit installation :)

    You can connect those USB DAB receivers also with an existing antenna. You just need an adaptor to connect your existing antenna.
    Here one example for a popular DAB receiver with a MCX connector:

    Sure, the other side of the connector need to fit to your car.

    In the factory menu, in my HU 8878, there is an option to enable the appearence of the AC topic on the regular settings menu like the image on tis post:
    You have to choose enabled an save on exit from the 8878 menu

    Thank you. Succeeded, I copied the image to the USB Drive root folder. The correct size is 1280x720 and can be .BMP or .PNG format, the file name can be anything.

    I have one problem with reverse camera when I put on reverse the car ( toyota rav4 2010 ) nothing happens, the reverse cable gets 12v but the reverse camera app not launching . when i put reverse and the video wire of the camera is connected to aux video in I can get image from camera, but i need to launch the aux video app every time i put reverse.​

    As soon as there are +12 V on the reverse wire your should see the rear view camera app with a black screen (if rear view camera signal is not connected).

    They told me the same thing and it's not true, I can do tethering by bt. I copy and paste from a post that I put pages back, I hope it helps you.

    My headunit is a kapud mtk8257, but it is very similar to Junsun V1 Pro.

    In 90% of the cases, if before connecting the bluetooth on the mobile I am already allowing tethering (phone) automatically the headunit picks up the internet from the mobile.
    But other times I have to force it: the button is "hidden", once connected to the phone, go into settings, click on the magnifying glass/search engine, look for "previously connected devices", click on your phone, and you will see that one of the buttons is "allow internet connection" or something similar.
    PS: I have the radio in Spanish language, but the name of the menus should be like this, or similar.
