Didi not manage to find any bugs, so far everything works exactly as before, except for the new themes, they are a bit more interactive and offer a small amount of customisations....

Can anyone who installed this firmware please share the "About Device" screen. Also any informational screens from cpuz, devicecheck, etc since it was observed that the system reports it is Android 12 . Thanks in advance.
Update: I managed to install this software on my Eonon 4gb/64gb unit (hw similar to Junsun). It runs without issues launching apps fast and smooth. Though it displays as Android 12 it is actually Android 9 (API 28).

If after updating to the latest firmware you have the problem of loosing all settings and changes after each reboot, please check your USB drives and remove the file ts8259.factory.bin if it is present in the root directory. After that, all settings should be saved and remembered after reboot.
Hello, I am writing in desperation because of the horrible Junsun support, hoping someone here can help me before I fly to china and burn their 
factory to the ground.
I got a 8259(!) V1 Pro 4GB + 64GB 4G & Wi-Fi about 3 months ago and installed it my father's RAV 4 Gen3 without any issue and the unit seemed to be working just fine, even steering wheel controls were great.
Until a few weeks ago when it suddenly died - it boots to Android logo and that's it. Actually, speaking to my father he explained to me it wasn't sudden - it occasionally did not boot, but after the car was off for a while it booted alright, but now it completely stopped booting.
I asked support and they sent me a 8667(!) firmware. I spent days trying to make it work - changing USB drives and ports; holding reset while power on; swiping while booting; holding 5 fingers on screen; pulling and replugging cables... every tip and suggestion I could find.
It just doesn't work - there is not even a hint it tries to read the drive and start the flash - shows robot logo, then android and that's it.
Then, after reading multiple "guides" how to update, I realised the firmware they provided me is wrong - I need one for 8259, not 8667. Well, great, but the Junsun "support" does not respond to me any more. Obviously, in china "2 Years Warranty LONGER GUARANTEE" means "after 3 months you can off".
Anyway, now I think the problem is all files linked in this thread (I tried them all) have a 0 byte .upd file - compared to the one they provided me which contains a short string of symbols, also the .bin contains 3 separate .img for the 3 partitions, not just the root of System as it is with the ones here - this is my last thought to possibly get it to re-flash.
I also tried messing with MTK Tools but it seems I couldn't make my laptop to connect to the device with a USB-C to USB-A cable, although I removed driver digital signature check and installed everything as instructed. Also, from my limited understanding I should have a scatter file which I cannot find aside from some very suspicious YT vids.
Any help or suggestions are welcome. And apologies for the long post. 🫡

J'ai eu un 8259 (!) V1 Pro 4 Go + 64 Go 4G et Wi-Fi il y a environ 3 mois et je l'ai installé sur le RAV 4 Gen3 de mon père sans aucun problème et l'appareil semblait fonctionner très bien, même les commandes au volant étaient excellentes.
Jusqu'à il y a quelques semaines, quand il est soudainement mort - il démarre sur le logo Android et c'est tout. En fait, en parlant à mon père, il m'a expliqué que ce n'était pas soudain - il ne démarrait parfois pas, mais après que la voiture ait été éteinte pendant un certain temps, elle a bien démarré, mais maintenant elle a complètement cessé de démarrer.
J'ai demandé au support et ils m'ont envoyé un firmware 8667 (!). J'ai passé des jours à essayer de le faire fonctionner - en changeant les lecteurs et les ports USB; maintenir la réinitialisation pendant la mise sous tension ; glisser pendant le démarrage ; tenir 5 doigts sur l'écran ; tirer et rebrancher les câbles... tous les conseils et suggestions que j'ai pu trouver.
Cela ne fonctionne tout simplement pas - il n'y a même pas un indice qu'il essaie de lire le lecteur et de démarrer le flash - affiche le logo du robot, puis Android et c'est tout.
Puis, après avoir lu plusieurs "guides" sur la mise à jour, j'ai réalisé que le firmware qu'ils m'avaient fourni était erroné - j'en ai besoin d'un pour 8259, pas pour 8667. Quoi qu'il en soit, maintenant je pense que le problème est que tous les fichiers liés dans ce fil (je les ai tous essayés) ont un fichier .upd de 0 octet - par rapport à celui qu'ils m'ont fourni qui contient une courte chaîne de symboles, le .bin contient également 3 fichiers distincts .img pour les 3 partitions, pas seulement la racine de System comme c'est le cas avec celles ici - c'est ma dernière pensée pour éventuellement le faire re-flasher.
J'ai également essayé de jouer avec MTK Tools , mais il semble que je ne pouvais pas connecter mon ordinateur portable à l'appareil avec un câble USB-C vers USB-A, bien que j'aie supprimé la vérification de la signature numérique du pilote et tout installé comme indiqué. De plus, d'après ma compréhension limitée, je devrais avoir un fichier scatter que je ne trouve pas à part quelques vidéos YT très suspectes.

Format a usb key in vfat, with a paperclip press the reset button and rub the screen with your finger until it is detected

i ran the update it was successful andriod auto works wreless etc these are the changes it changed the HMI,MEDIA,BTV but not the MCU and the build went to core 9 and ends with test-keys vs before the update it was core 10 userdebug(whatever that means) -

I use an USB drive with all my Apps., I plugged it on the "HU" and I open "Es Explorer" on the "HU" to look for the USB drive . And when I select the app (with my finger) , the "HU" offers to use "Apk installer" or similar to install it. I just click on the the screen with my finger on the good choice and and the installation is done automatically. I repeat that with each App.2
I have no idea because that's a secret of the Chinese manufacturers. I'm sure even the sellers don't know.
But don't flash MCU if you don't have an issue with it.
That's part of faking the displayed Android version. The Chinese want you to think you have Android 9. There are apps available which can tell you the truth (CPU-Z) and fake check tools.
You can flash it and because we're taking about full updates there is no need to flash previous versions first.
But please note: You will loose all apps installed by yourself and you will loose the pirated navi app installed by the Chinese, the voice recognition app with this white roboter.
You can create a backup but I don't see a need if you only flash v50. Don't use the newest USB stick - and maybe you have to try several USB pen drives to get the update running.
One additional note: don't store sensitive information (credit card) on the head unit. And use a separate Google account - not the main one you use on your phone. -
