Hello, i just received the new interface of android auto on my junsun V1 PRO. The issue is not from the APK or the Radio Junsun, just need to wait the activation from the google server.

Let's wait then. I asked them this through aliexpress and they said AU won't be updated, but they also said junsun v1 pro does not allow wireless AU and we have it. Thank you!

Also I'm waiting for someone who has v50 to confirm if they have the same issue while playing music and trying to talk to Google assistant, the music don't stop automatically. It used to be this way in other fw

yeah music playback isn't stopping here while Google Assistant prompt is showing in AA since running the V50 update.

Don't share fw here which is not for MTK8257 because flashing the wrong firmware will prevent the head unit from boot! A bootloop can be complex to fix! Please remove the link from your post and try to find the fitting thread for it - don't be lazy just posting it anywhere.

And it's never ever Android 11. The Chinese friends are faking the displayed Android version.

Hello, Does anyone know how I can use the Junsun head unit for Android Auto. My phone can be connected both wirelessly and wired. Is a special APK file needed for this?

Hi Good day,

I still new and try to learn how to update firmware for my car HU. May i know if my HU which as per attach did compatible eith this junsun V1 or if not compatible can you advice which version can i use.

The reason i want to update the MCU or firmware because i did foresee my car HU had problem with sound system since after a while use it, the sound system didn’t work and no sound come from the car HU until i dismantle or disconnect power wire and reconnect it. Can you guys advice also on this problem? What is possible root cause and way to rectify it.. really hope if anyone can advice

It is not a Junsun V1 Pro with Mtk8257 CPU. So this thread isn't the correct one.

Install application CPU-Z and check which CPU your device has.
Additional important information is MCU.
You should also ask your seller for latest firmware because name of the update file helps, too. And maybe you will get a link to a firmware which is newer than the versions here on XDA.

Hi all

I have an XTRONS unit that looks identical to a Junsun V1.
Took my chances and installed firmware - 8259P_军灿UI02v1280x720-国外_v50_20221226
All went well. Only issue I've come across is I can't change the clock to 12H, or change the temp from F to C in the settings app anymore. Managed to change it via the buttons on the instrument cluster, so all good. Maybe updating the MCU might fix this?

This was the latest XTRONS firmware I had. (I never installed it)

I really don't understand why you are sharing Xtrons firmware in a thread labeled with "Junsun V1 Pro (MTK8259/MTK8257) - firmware".

Are you sure if will work on this variant of Junsun V1 Pro?

The Junsun V1 Pro Firmware worked fine on my Xtrons unit. As far as I can tell it's the exact same unit.
Didn't think there would be any harm helping with the request.

Sorry. But so many people bricking their head units because devices getting bricked due to wrong firmware and crying for help to find the test points on the main circuit board.

Could you provide further details and some photos/screenshots of the firmware?

Is a SWC button customization even with connected can box possible?

I never actually ran that firmware. I found this thread before installing it and ran with the December update.
I think I might give it a go though, just out of pure curiousity. The firmware that came with the unit was pretty average.

The Junsun firmware doesn't allow to remap the SWC buttons if can box is used. That's a pain for many users.
