Basically your head unit is a Mtk825X unit and this would be the right thread.
BUT: But your head unit has a special (smaller) display height and a special MCU for BMW. Maybe your firmware supports special BMW features. You should be really careful flashing any firmware. You may loose canbus related features or end up with a screen not showing the full content.

Your first target should be to get the firmware file to have a backup in case of problems or to rescue the unit if you flashed the wrong firmware.

You could try to get in contact with the 'Junsun France Official Store'. Like all other Junsun sellers they wasn't able to answer my questions but they asked me not for my order number. Give it a try and send them the first two pictures and mention that you bought the head unit for BMW xyz...

I tried to contact junsun France but they said is better to not flash their firmware like you said cause maybe I will lost canbus features, but junsun confirmed my unit should be V1 pro but they don’t have firmware which includes bmw features

Sorry. But so many people bricking their head units because devices getting bricked due to wrong firmware and crying for help to find the test points on the main circuit board.

Could you provide further details and some photos/screenshots of the firmware?

Is a SWC button customization even with connected can box possible?

I installed the XTRONS firmware again. SWC are not customisable with CANBUS. Bummer.

There's also no wireless Android Auto. So I installed the Autolink app from the latest Junsun firmware. It installed and launched fine but would only work with a wired connection.

I pretty much went straight back to the December firmware.

I have BMW E83 with Android 11.

The main problem is that the navigation turns on by itself?!
The only way to turn it off is by removing the battery terminal

I sent a video clip to my seller who sent me a version of the firmware: 8259P_宝马UI02v1920x720-国外_v73_20221110

For two weeks the navigation worked fine, now it started on again by itself.
My question is this a software issue or a hardware issue?

Does anyone have a newer firmware that they can send me?

The head unit turn on as soon it gets 12V+ on the ACC pin. I expect you're using a canbus box which provides the ACC signal to the head unit.
Maybe the can box misinterprets a can signal and turns on its ACC output.

You could check if the OEM radio connector of your car has an ACC pin and use this to turn on the radio.

No, I'm not using a canbus box. The strangest thing is that after the update everything was working as expected for about 2 weeks Going down to the car this morning I found the navigation working again... the strangest thing is where does it draw power to power itself when the car is off?

The head unit is connected to B+, too. This provides power to the head unit even when ignition is off. This is required to give the head unit the chance to shut down or stay in sleep mode.

Is sleep mode activated in your head units settings?

I flashed the firmware. Looks like Junsun security resets unit after disabling it. Maybe someone can verify by disabling it directly after flashing?

Resets the unit once, after disabling it, or resets the unit constantly (like all the problems with the HU not keeping settings) ?

Only once. No need to be worried. And the reset could also be caused by another action from my side.

I can't be worried about resetting settings, because I have that problem right now . I thought that I had a tip about the reason my HU resets (of course I disabled stupid Security and voice assistant ASAP as I installed the HU, and maybe that was the problem).

But it seems that I have to install this FW myself to test the ****** reset bug.

We're talking about different things. My reset was a reset on Android level including apps and data - have no trouble with factory settings.

As usual I didn't see a change and I only installed it to see if my 4G issue persists.

During reboot the message "reset system" appears and after a longer boot period (as on first boot after fresh install) the system came up as after a fresh installation.
