Make a repository / a post / a signature with all the things you make for us. Make a webpage with links to the forum, with a ~donation~ button .. c'mon .. you have to promote your extraordinary work ..

P.s. Don't get me wrong, I'm only saying that your work is undervalued, caused by a lack of promotion and/or a missing repository/post with the links to all the great software you've written.

I've flashed it. What menu are you talking about ? The Car Info menu, or standard Android - about ?

Placebo effect that I have (i'm sure it's placebo) is a nicer sound quality and a snappier interface.

Thank you for the photos. Same as on my head unit (after flashing the firmware).

I think the basic firmware was build in April 2020 so they may have added additional cars for can bus support or minimal changes on their own apps.

I don't think it's worth to flash it.

Finally managed to flash the V53 build on my V1 Pro (8257)

First I had problems with flashing, because I got usb errors when the proccess started. Errors was caused by my usbs sticks that had GUID partition tables. The recovery only supports MBR partition tables. Reformating to mbr using Rufus fixed that <- might be helpful info for others.

After flashing hotspot threw an error. could not enable.
Fixed it by changing the AP security to open, and then back to secure.

Can't comment on stability and SQ, since I installed the headunit this weekend and used V53 for 10min.

But one noticable change is that the FM radio app now shows song names. With the previous version (v50) I didn't see song names.

My radio doesn't work. there is no way to switch to FM AM, and changing frequencies is also not available. there is only one way, manually use the slider to select the frequency, but after that the radio freezes for more than 30 seconds. after the radio application restarts and turns on again. I did not change the settings in the menu, as everything was standard as it is. menu 8878-radio.

Check if Radio was removed from icon configuration in 8878 factory menu.
