I wanted a device capable of outputting a composite video signal that I can use in my BMW in conjunction with an adapter box to allow me to display on the built in navigation screen. I have an old iPhone 3G I thought about using but I figured I could do so much more with an android device so I started poking around and settled on getting a cheap used Incredible for the task.

I'm pretty excited as I think this will work way better than CarPC setups of the past. I'll just use wireless tethering from my normal phone (EVO 3D) to give it internet when I'm in the car.

Yeah lol have u tryed the video out?

Sent from my XT912 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Yeah I got the cable today lol. It's not particularly amazing but it will be fine on the low res screen it'll be piped to.

I would have liked to use my old Evo with hdmi since that's a much higher quality signal but I would still have to convert from hdmi to composite and the video out I have found to be much clunkier.
