Hope we can enjoy your work also for non lte version.

Nice work

a million likes to my blog will do! ;) just kidding

Btw, i will need an advanced user who is brave enough and capable to fix (almost) any possible soft brick or flashing problem himself (medium to advanced linux knowledge is preferred in case of fatal problems occur), and to perform tests for me for a n7100 port in the future. it is not urgent atm... so let me finish the n7105 first

Flashing stock rom through odin and :good:Re-partiton. No?

+1 for gn-n7100 i can be a beta tester :)

If you want i can be a beta tester (N7100).

thanks guys. may i ask if any of you know how to use dd to backup and restore, and in case of emergency, perform tasks in the console inside recovery without adb?

i know odin can be used to restore the phone but we cannot obtain custom logs for debugging if we simply reflash the rom to restore the phone if problems occur. and that's why i said with proper linux experience is a plus for initial test run and debugging.

these requirements are to make sure you wont soft brick your phone, coz i dont want to make you to pay for a repair, or worry about how to make your phone work again

I have no idea how to get logs through recovery.
Maybe Taylor_Swift would like to test. He ported note 10.1's software to the note 2, and he has N7100 if I'm not mistaken.

oh.. thanks a lot! let's see if it helps to solve the sensors. i almost have to give it up

i used to search for n7108 (no D), so... only found 4.1.2 roms

thanks

never knew there was a Note II variant with SD600...
hope this will help with sensors, camera and anything else that is broken :)

still unable to make the sensors work properly

will spend this weekend for final attempts, and probably the result will disappoint both u and me. and if this is the case, i will have to terminate this port. sorry about that

I'm sure there is someone that could help you :( Maybe try opening a post on the development forum? Or even upload what you have now, maybe someone will find it and help..
Did you took a look at the N708D software? Is it relevant?

Anyway, you did an awesome work, and we all appreciate it :)

sorry guys, i jumped to bed last nite immediately after posting the screenshot, it was 6am in HK..

quite a lot of things need to be modified in this initial version like no internet, no sensor, internal sdcard not mapped correctly, camera, resolution, as well as nfc (they don have nfc but i got it work in 4.1.2), etc, since all those files are not intended for n7105 actually. and in fact, i have only replaced the system and kernel only while others like boot loader, modem, etc are still 7105's

for 7100, if, and only if, i have time to do it, that's fine since not too many changes involved but don expect a fancy, touchable update like aroma. but if anyone willing to provide one, i don and wont mind :D (PS i am a command line user)

i am going to sort them out now, and i remember last time it took me about 2 days to fix all problem when i put the n5120 rom (excluding kernel) into my 7105 with all 4.1.2 files available, which is not true in this case where no 4.2.2 files available for the note 2

so..... be patient and hope that i can finish it before note 3 launch!! :p
