Just wanted to let everyone know that I bought my Xoom from a Verizon Wireless store this morning where the rep forced me to pay/activate even though I was paying the full $799 for the device (he said I HAVE TO for the first 60 days and then cancel). I went back to work and called Verizon and they told me to go back to the store, get my account credited for any additional fees and just have them deactivate the line. So for any of you out there that just purchased one or are planning to purchase one, you don't need any printouts, just tell them to call the corporate office if they insist on charging you more than the $799.
