First,I want to say it's been great reading lots&lots of very useful threads all over the forum..I am a new android&sensation user,so some things aren't perfectly clear yet..
Few days ago i received my Sensation 4G from the states,it is a t-mobile version of the phone..While i understood quite good that s-off&root guide at dev section,I still don't quite understand the part about CID,superCID and reverting to stock rom..As I understood, supercid step is done because when device gets s-off&root,original CID changes so in case that original ROM for warranty purposes is needed,we need superCID in order to install it.Right or wrong? Also, can this step be done anytime or it needs to be done when doing s-off,recovery&root?And finally, considering that I am using this phone outside the USA,do I really need to think about this, because as much as I know,I can not achieve warranty in case of need outside USA,here in Serbia?

Also,I found sth interesting..My phone says it is running 10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M baseband and on the dev section with shipped roms,I found that this is the number(version) for some European HTCs?! Did I get something wrong or is this just a coincidence?

If i wrote something confusing,I'd be happy to explain what i ment :)
Thanks in advance!

Errm, did a little bit more reading, and I'm still confused a bit:/ CID/SuperCID is now a bit clearer as I understood it is used/needed in order to flash some different carrier/area official ROM and to revert to original ROM.
Using terminal emulator,I found that my CID is T-MOB010 and now I'm wondering how to tell which stock RUU is the correct one for my phone? This is whats confusing me most because as said in previous post, I've found that my baseband number is 10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M and build number is 1.45.531.1..How to tell which RUU file do I need in case I need to revert to stock ROM?

Also one more question,do I really need to debrand my phone,as I'm not intending to use any official ROMs?

i might be wrong but i dont think you need to scid your device if you are planing to use your phone with the rom of your carrier ie t-mobile (if you are on t-mobile.) and i think the same goes with custom roms.

as for the ruu you need, and i am assuming you are on t-mobile usa you will need RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.29.531.2_Radio_10.42.9007.00P_ 10.11.9007.15_M_release_193714_signed

hope that helps
