Hi,
I'm new here and searched through all the posts, but cant find something what helps me with my problem.
I got a k2501 headunit in my citroen c5. And with the last update of the mcu it downloads and tests it. But doesnt install it. Message as shown in attachment picture keeps loading. Someone who can help me?

You don't need to update the Mcu.the firmware is old.

The MCU you have is new. The android firmware itself is old.

You mean the mcu firmware version? You know if theres another way to find this? The seller isnt available anymore.

To the guy that shared the newer firmware update, I just want to say thanks!

I bought my K2501 (branded as a Lenovo D1 - probably bootleg) in 2021 and it only came with wired Android Auto Zlink, and the shop that I bought it from wasn't eager to help update it. So I did it myself and not only did I get a newer firmware, I also get wireless Android Auto as well AND the option to choose my own launcher!

So take that, greedy accessories shop!

It's this one. It's not the most latest firmware, but latest enough for me to get the upgraded Zlink.

What link of what file? I dont have a download or something. Its my update which downloads on the system itself but doesnt install.

No, unfortunately i cant reacht the seller anymore. Thats one of the reasons im asking you guys here for help.

Hello everyone.

Thank you for posting the updated firmware. It is definitely an improvement over the one they shipped this thing with.

I've read through the thread but I can't figure out how to change the launcher. Could someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction to do so?

Also, what is a good launcher for these things? I have ATV which could get the job done but maybe there is something better.
