On my android head unit k2501 reverse/back camera has bad quality, I installed new unit but I didn't change this camera, it's same one, but it had better quality on my first android unit than on this new one. I have selected ntsc (and others) in factory settings but same bad quality. Does anyone know about this problem?

Hi, can anyone please share latest firmware for K2501.
I currently have 20220801 version but Zlink 5.3.2 is not working. Tried manually updating to Zlink 5.3.9, still Zlink is not connecting both wired/wireless. Also tried downgrading firmware to version 20220324, this Zlink version 5.2.17 also not working.
Appreciate any of your assistance in getting latest firmware and working Zlink, many thanks in advance!

Same problem with all Chinese headunits. Apps like youtube, maps which can runs in PIP mode will remains in memory
Open back camera and press on the screen you will get menu to adjust color contrast and brightness, accordingly
Why r u looking for a old firmware when u can get a latest one. As of now the latest update file available on internet is of 01/08/2022 where as you are asking for 24/04/2022

Espero lo siguiente les sirva, es un firmware del Allwinner K2501 T5 de la plataforma pública F52LA-LB-2023.05.05, tablet para auto. Sigue siendo Android 10. No trae los logos de las marcas pero los pueden bajar aparte o pueden poner uno a su gusto, tiene que ser una imagen de archivo del tipo .bmp de tamaño 429k (448 en disco) en un directorio creado en la raíz del punto de montaje y después seleccionarlo desde el menú de fábrica.
Las contraseñas que le funcionan son 1617 16176699, 111333, modo desarrollador de android: 345543.
A mi me ha funcionado, después de instalar, reconectar a internet y esperar un tiempo, al parecer realiza descargas en segundo plano y después actualizar en la parte donde viene Info del software en la parte del canbus y en general todos las apps que trae, también en la tienda opensource F-Droid existe un software llamado Speed of Sound el cual a pesar de que está fuera de mantenimiento hace que suba o baje el volumen de manera automática de acuerdo a la velocidad del auto solo hay que calibrarla.

Salve a tutti, ma l'aggiornamento, fa in modo di avere un dispositivo libero? Con radice? Avrei bisogno di vedere tutti i tipi di impostazione, e disabilitare il microfono interno, il file update va bene, oppure in giro sapete indirizzarmi su qualcosa che ha il root e vada bene per un k2501-t5?? Grazie

I'm noticed what the different brands of headunists use the same hardware in many of their models but simply change the way of the android firmware works, some has made it more closed some has made it more open and some has putted a cracked version of some Apps and maybe thats the reason why the headunit have some issues.
By example, the Torque App, refuses to work well because their author maybe putted some code to verify what are the original one and it was discharged from the Playstore, because when I used the one provided it don't run well but when I change for the original version what I purchased time ago it runs fine.
The same case are by the App Toppal; the playstore adverts me what that app are made for an older version of the firmware based on android 10 and contains a malicius code inside, same what I think, are the crack to do it run.
I purchased one brand but It failed, then my seller ask me to do some tests and conclude what I'll have to change the motherboard. They send me a new one then Im does the change and was an effective remedy. But when I have both motherboards in my hand I couldn't find any differences but when I'm start to using it have a different interface and said the name of another brand.
My conclusion are what the cracked apps makes the troubles and some brands does a better firmware than others. The problem are: how to make a good selection. -
3I have got OBD working finally!
There's some effort going on in Russia over 4PDA forum. The content is all in Russian, but it's understandable if you use Google Translator. Somebody recently posted a more recent firmware version, and the guys over at 4PDA released a rooted version of this firmware.
This latest firmware seems to resolve OBD issues. I have updated my head unit with this and tested. Of course, OBD adapter still needs to be labelled as "OBDII"(I haven't tried other devices).

Firmware is named: K2501_FYDZ_S212101.20220112.165334_Root
NOTE: The firmware didn't download for me unless I used a VPN for some reason.
Update method is simple:
1. Download firmware from above link.
2. Extract the RAR, find a file named "update.zip", and copy this file to a flash drive(I used 16GB drive)
3. Connect the flash drive to one of the USB ports of head unit.
4. Open "Car Settings", click on "Factory Settings"(use password 16176699), and export config for safety. This will export config to the connected flash drive.
5. Exit "Factory Settings" without saving changes, go back to "Car Settings" and choose "Update".
6. A dialog says Update.zip file exists in expected location. Now, click on "Update" Button.
7. You get a warning saying everything will be erased, click on confirm. Do not unplug flash drive after this.
8. Head Unit will start installing, reboot, and erase your existing config.
9. After successful installation, head unit will ask if you want to import FactoryConfig from connected flash drive. I have chosen "No", I recommend the same for you unless necessary. Head Unit will ask this question every time you connect the flash drive, until the exported files from step "4" are deleted from it.
10. You might get a dialog upon booting asking if you want to give SuperUser access to "NetworkStack", I chose yes - I do not know what would happen otherwise.
That's it, enjoy your updated firmware!
To use OBD Adapter with Torque app:
1. Install Torque app from Play store.
2. Open "TOolbox" app in Head Unit.
3. Select "OBD Match"
4. In the password field on right hand side, type the pairing password for your OBD Adapter - mine was "1234".
5. Click on "Search" option at the left, and your OBD adapter should be listed shortly. It may not show up unless the adapter is internally named as "OBDII".
6. Select the listed "OBDII" adapter for pairing. You should get a notification at the bottom saying "FactorySettings: Pair success!".
7. Exit Toolbox app, open Torque, and choose your recently paired OBD adapter labelled "OBDII".
8. Torque should successfully be able to connect to your car's ECU now!
Need to thank the guys over at 4PDA for all their work! Also, they seem to be working on making a DSP software called "James DSP" work with this head unit. They say this would greatly improve sound quality if all goes well!3
I got it with difficulty from the seller, so I would like to share it with everyone, but I am having difficulty uploading it to Google Drive, and also difficulty uploading it to the forum. Be sure that I will not calm down until I upload it and share with everyone. I strive for that3
Make a folder named UpdateApk in USB drive, copy radio apk inside that folder. Then go to Toolbox, click updateapk. Will install and restart.
