Need pro's here. Can we use flashfire to install official ota updates? App claims it could. I'm using twrp. Am not sure if the official S219 to S230 row zip file I have can be used in twrp.
custom recovery wont intall official ota updates.
custom recovery can install custom rom updates only.
its better to flash stock recovery and then unroot your phone to install the update through stock recovery.

NOTE:- Do not install the s230 update while your sd card inserted in the phone. Remove the sd card and then proceed. I installed the update as usual by keeping the micro sd connected to the device. After the update was installed the phone rebooted and gave me a notification saying damaged sd card. Though i fixed the sd card but i lost all the data of sd card.

twrp not working
It's not working with twrp. Flashed s208 row with twrp which have changed to stock recovery. Next installed s214 row. Then all updated fine. And my SD card is also fine.

no seems, you can flash s219 and after update by recovery or u may get official update.
Apologies for being off-topic! I faced a lot of issues in s230 update thus downgraded to s218 & now on s219. I am able to get adb to recognize my device but not fastboot. Therefore I am unable to unlock bootloader!
When I type in " adb reboot bootloader" or click on the "unlock_recovery.bat" file provided, I get booted into a dark screen where "fastboot" is written at the bottom left & the command prompt window says < waiting for device> & I am stuck there until I reboot my phone.
Can somebody tell how to get past this?
