ROM for karboon A7

Hi guys !

Here I'm going to share a boot image & boot animation for Karbonn A7 (320x480) .

Installation Boot Image :

1. Download the attachment .
2. CWM
3. Update from zip
4. Choose samsung_galaxy_boot_image_for_A7
4. Reboot.

(Dont wipe / clear any data)


Installation Boot Animation :

(NEED ROOT)

1. Download the below attachment.

2. Install The App

Download and install one of the above mentioned root file explorers (Root Explorer, SU File Manager, ES File Explorer) or any other of your choosing. It just has to get root access.

3. Download your boot animation.

I mean...yeah. That's the point, right?

4. Backup (OPTIONAL)

You can either copy the original bootscreen and paste it on your sdcard/computer, or you can rename it bootanimation.bak and leave it in the original directory for safe keeping.

5. Copy/move

Copy the bootanimation.zip and shutdownanimation.zip to the directory " /system/media "

6. Reboot. Enjoy.

baseband is not updating :/
is it possible because my phone is colors a99?

Using baseband and rom to other model phones may brick your phone

its the same phone and I have done it now
but flashed 2-3 roms , not good

Karbonn A7 issues when rooted

Hi Sir,

I updated the My Karbonn A7 mobile is rooted, then onwards my mobile is not working good, when i connected the internet immedeatly switch off the mobile and battery shows empty and at the same time when i taking the call automatically restart the mobile, please give me solution on this issues.

Finally managed to get CWM via fastboot.. Thanks!

Did a fulll wipe and now trying to flash the ROM.. crossing my fingers

Dear hallowedbethyname i am facing the same problem asu face earlier i.e when i trying to instal a font in my Karbonn A5,aftr restarting it only shows the karbonn logo and after somelime it turns into blue screen. like u i tried every Rom in th e 1st page of this thread.but failed to repair.on last post a member post this Tutotial
Hi,

If you are able to go to recovery mode, dont worry.
Just use "fastboot flash" commands. and flash your ROM. This happened to me several times on my A7. But I recovered easily with updating zips.
I dont know why it is not working.
Just try fast boot method. I am sure it will be fine.

bugs in cm 10.1 superlite rom

guys, i am facing following problems:
1) WiFi doesn't turn on... stays on for some time then disconnects and then doesn't turn on till reboot... after reboot same problem...
2) language changing back to Vietnamese after every reboot...
