Thanks for the continued work on this Kernel for M8 Faux. I still use your Kernel on Nexus 5 and it runs buttery smooth. I find the same with the M8.

Still getting bad battery drain on VZW. Im using recommended settings as faux put in his G+ page. When I look at GSAM, kernel is just eating away at the battery. On stock unsecured kernel, I could get a day, day and half with reg use, with faux, barely get through the day. What other info could I gather to see why the kernel is draining so much juice?

No. This is most likely caused by the mismatching Wi-Fi kernel source there's nothing we can do about this because htc didn't release their Wi-Fi source. All source came from Qualcomm reference

Can you verify the last 4 digits of your wireless MAC on your phone being 40:48? If so, that is mine also and the case is correct.

I can verify that my HTC M8 running this kernel has this mac address. How can I change this?

When you see GSM that means ATT,TMO etc etc. Unless otherwise specified.

Ppl with battery issues need to give it a day or two before making a accurate judgment. I usually try to run my phone to 5% then charge fully . After doing this twice and your still having problems , then try troubleshooting. JMO of course.
