I really don't know.. I don't have stock kernel to test on, I have the generic boot.img of 4.4 image, so it isn't fixed, because this build is from february, and it wasn't fixed. Don't know how to help you, but the OTG doesn't act with your kernel.

OTG works, but you need a 3rd party app to use it. There's NOTHING I can do on the kernel side since my kernel has the same log as your fake "stock" kernel. so from kernel's perspective, there's nothing wrong.

Ok thanks.
Now there is a good change.
Before with explorer i saw in storage folder 7, maybe 8 usbdisk, but no one of them worked. Now there is one only usbdisk, the right usbdisk working.
What i don't see is the stock popup with warning about usb inserted, but honestly now i don't remember how it was.
But root explorer is the same a 3rd part app. So it's all correct? Or i m forgetting something?
Btw otg seems works well natively;)

Is anyone able to make a Screenshots from the results of Antutu and/or Geekbench with current faux kernel +1593OC?

Hi guys,

I am new on xda, so hello everyone :)

First of all - many thanx Faux for this awesome kernel, your work is really excellent!!:D
One notice from my testing 008r2-u: I am experiencing bigger battery drain when screen is off than with 007m.
With 007 I had a fraction of a single $% drain during a night (about 8h), which was really awesome. I have never seen so battery friendly kernel before!

With 008 battery drain is like with stock (phone works for about 27h).

My config in both tests:
- recommended settings in faux clock applied (including zram on)
- stock rom
- wipe cache and dalvik just after flashing kernel
- 007 m kernel, 008 u kernel
Any suggestion?
What can cause this bigger battery drain?
Out of curious: which part of 007 causes such good battery life when screen is off?

Cheers.

mine was having a horrible battery drain too, but it was Android, just plugged it and unplugged it from the usb charger and stopped the OS from being stupid...

mine's been running for 20 hours, and it's still at 70% battery...
I did disable a bunch of wakelock inducing ****s and pointless programs...
