This month's release feel fabulous. As always thank you for your work!
I´m having no problems using the sliders on the version of the camera app you´re describing. (8.8.224....)Awesome update!
I didn't want to post this until I was sure, so I've done a bit of testing. Since installing Raviantha the only issue I've noticed is that within the Camera app (March update, 220.127.116.114217832.10), the exposure and contrast sliders don't seem to do anything. I didn't know if it was the Camera update, Kiri, or something else so I've tried:
- Disabling all Magisk modules (except AK3 Helper) - didn't help.
- Force closing & clearing data/cache for Camera app - didn't help.
- Rebooting after above - didn't help.
- Uninstalling Camera 8.8.224 & installing 8.7.250 via SAI. - fixed the issue.
- Uninstalling Raviantha by flashing stock over, and re-installing Magisk (all modules enabled). - fixed the issue (with 8.8.224 installed).
Is this something that the camera speed launch patch (or any other updates) could interfere with?
If not, I obviously need to look into this more. Im unsure if the kernel has the ability to affect something like this as there are no other reports (could be a Google Camera app issue conflicting with the kernel?), and I guess most people don't use the exposure/contrast sliders so, again, reduces the possibility of reports. I haven't tried a factory reset as I'm trying to avoid disconnecting my Watch5 from my phone, but may have to if it's not possible for the kernel to cause this.
Ok, thanks, I'll explore other options - seems it might be a coincidence as only began after installing Raviantha & the issue goes away with the stock kernel.I´m having no problems using the sliders on the version of the camera app you´re describing. (8.8.224....)
Negative, but I'm 99% on wifi. That 5G eats major battery life for me.Is anyone noticing more battery drain since last update?
Same or maybe less drain for me on March update with this kernel. Is anyone noticing more battery drain since last update?
Please share the contents of sys/fs/pstore once the phone has booted back up after a crash.Hey, got a random reboot on a new version.
Pixel 6, Match update, stable Magisk.
Anything I can provide to help debug this? /proc/last_kmsg doesn't exist.
Thanks for your amazing work. Please share the contents of sys/fs/pstore once the phone has booted back up after a crash.
That way I can check and get an idea of what happened.
If you get any more of those please share the logs i mentioned in the previous post for me to take a look atThanks for your amazing work.
I want to report i was getting daily random reboots with previous and latest kernel version, on Pixel 6 stock rom.
Yesterday I updated magisk, from latest stable 25200 to canary 25206 and i haven't had any reboots since then.
Maybe read Post 2 on this thread - called FAQ.Can somebody point me to a step by step guide to install this and remain rooted?
Also, how to return to previous state if something is not right after flashing this?
