After 9 hours of code merging, new mali code is successfully merged.
This completes my 60% of new goal.

You will be soon having total control over your GPU without external paid app.
Once this is successfully done for NXTW (Touchwiz Kernel). It will soon come to NX (AOSP Kernel).

Need some rest now. Kernel is super smooth. FPS is increased in testing.
Teaser: It will be 5-step GPU freq stepping with control over freq and voltage.

Thank you.

**** Important Announcement****

This is very good news for me.
My PayPal account is now working. I will be able to accept any donation amount.

Due to some RBI (Reserve Bank of India)'s policy, my previous account was freezed.
And now new account is verified good. So Paypal is back after 8-10 months!!

If you wish to donate, please follow this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/donatetome.php?u=3795148

My contribution to Galaxy Note community is viewable with StuNNeR ROM, NX-Kernel (previously DH-Kernel) for AOSP Roms, NXTW-Kernel (for Touchwiz Roms.)
Your donation will surely be cherished as it would be pay off to my contribution.

Thank-you. :)

It is amazing to see how the creators of kernels differ in recommending governour and IO Sched.
neo: HYPER+ROW
COH: noop+pegasusq
Not only that difference....neo lists noop+pegasusq as "worst" options.

I usually use NOOP+ONDEMAND...very seldom but existing...I get lags/stalls, but I´m okay with it as it brings good battery life I think.
Hyper and ROW are new settings to me which I´ll have to read about.

Could you please tell me/us why you prefer your settings (Neo) or is it just a feeling a first impression?

/EDIT: HYPER and ROW are not listed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369817
Anyone can tell me about them?

Read post carefully.
This is my recommendation.
It's coded carefully to add advanced ROW algorithm.

Use what suits you the best.

90 % complete.
Along with setting GPU frequencies and voltages, you will also be able to see current GPU frequency as well generate report for GPU frequency.
This is useful as you can start GPU monitor and play your game.
After your game, you can stop monitor and check report!!

Also possibility to set mali utilization timeout.
Lower = Performance + Battery Drain
Higher = Default

Total GPU Control!! :)

I don´t think you got me or I don´t get you?!
I´m not criticising you to recommend something. I was just asking you why you recommend it. What made you choose this combination?
Plus I didn´t find any information about hyper and row. So I can´t learn/read myself what they do.

I know philz does...you know that too obviously. I know speed-mod DOES NOT!
Since COH+NXTW use Philz CWM it should work like it does with philz original.
Sorry for not giving you 100% secure information. :(

I got two times bootloop after flash this kernel, and i have to wipe data to boot normally.
Is this kernel without the "JB bootloop fix" things?
Everythings fine on other kernel. Anyway, thanks for your work :)

Video player is fixed for next version.... Now time to check and fix compatibility with XXLSZ ROM.
Neo, about the recovery
you have included before fully working Philz touch recovery in your DH kernel 2.1
I am suggesting that to switch the current recovery with that one
and clearly philz recovery is far better than the current recovery,,,
