all these kernels work only with old-radio. it's NOT FOR NIGHTLY etc...
it's a matter of taste. if you'r not playing goldenleaf more economical for batteryWhich ones better....Goldenleaf.v111206 or the BFS franco.Kernel-gbs.v20a-gamer?>??

Kernels are independent from baseband. One can use .32 kernels with any 2.2.x or 2.3.x ROMs and .35 kernels with 2.3.x ROMs only.

Doesn't maters. Gl-20111226 works perfectly with CM7 on my experience.

I know only enough from the topics I've read here and I must say thats not entirely true @32bit Besides the FAQ in which it says .35 kernels not compatible with .32 ROMS and vice versa,I did just try Goldenleaf on the new oxygen,doesnt even completely boot.
you are wrong. kernels and baseband have no relation - true. but using .32 kernel tree based kernel with a .35 kernel tree based ROM is highly dangerous. I recommend you don't use this kernel with official cm7 nightlies. otherwise with a .32 ROM, this THE BEST kernel at present. the combo ur using must, might and surely will give complex trouble both in long run and short run.

when fserve wrote that, all these were the roms with .32 kernel. he hasn't updated the OP..
baseband is out of question here. now there are other .32 roms, like adfadds cm7 Roms (not the nightlies). however nightlies aren't supported with this kernel.

.32 roms = roms compiled with few flags that references to .32 kernel and .32 compatible lg libs
.35 roms = roms compiled with few flags that references to .35 kernel and .35 new lg compatible libs
So using a .32 kernel on .35 compatible rom = stability issues

Greatest news ever! Franco is back with his .35 and with a vengeance! This time he will see that all unfinished business is finally finished and that too with continuous support for some time on the .35 kernel! This is the best news on the XDA form...We have two legends coming back..der_caveman is also back with his touchscreen fix for the default CM7.2 kernel...We can expect fireworks every now and then now...life will no be boring again..Fserve....please take it from here and give us something more from Franco's .35 Kernel...
As I have said before...the default .35 kernel of the 7.2 Nightlies lack punch and battery life...and this is what makes it boring...

ur awesome mahn! can't you incorporate the black screen fix by removing console frame buffer? also I was on 20a from a long time, Murray switched back to 19.2 and the battery is amazing!!! :OP.s. did you say that jlt or some hidden meaning??!
