Subjectively this kernel feels much faster compared to the stock kernel. Great work!

Also, did you tweak the accelerometer somehow? It feels more responsive, but that might just be placebo.

Thanks, the whole system should be fast. I had it originally set to 2.5Ghz but down clocked it to 2.1Ghz more safe at that speed

Sorry I made a mistake, no need to be like that.
Either you do not have root access, or the application is incompatible with our Tegra note devices, I recommend set cpu
Is flashable with cwm?

I am not sure, I do not flash it with CWM. I flash it with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2586432 , its faster, touchscreen works, its not upside down, and it now supports flashing of nvidia otas, enjoy :)

Hi I flash it with twrp but WiFi doesn't work. Any idea?
Can you please provide a log?
What app are you using forma set cpu clock, gpu and scheduler?

Set CPU to set CPU clock and schedular only, stock ROM power saving mode etc still works. I shall release an update which will make everything easier for users. Very busy so patience is required

Tablet runs a lot smoother now, was hoping it might fix the problem I have with music skipping in Poweramp and other players but alas no. Only seems to happen when I turn the screen off, will just keep using my iPod. Overall though a very positive experience.

Can you elaborate on the HDMI output? Can we now output at true1080p etc and not have the black borders that are present on the stock kernel? I have been waiting for nvidia to fix this via an ota but would be very happy if your kernel has fixed it!

You can test this on the next update if you dont mind, I shall attempt to fix this issue on next update.

Previously our device hardware was incapable of outputting 4k resolution output, now the device is capable of outputting 4k to external monitor/tv. This is only the kernel side, I havent checked out the ROM side which could be the limiting output resolution.
I am not aware of black borders, if you can send me logs when using the feature I may be able to fix the border issue, that is not a promise though.

It is most likely the rom, the problem is that it is outputting to external display at 1200x800 not 720p so most tvs will add black borders to the left and right to correct the aspect ratio.

It also leaves the tablet screen on whilst it is connected to the external screen so the battery draw is high.

(All of this is on stock, I have yet to flash your kernel).

Can you please flash my kernel and test? Provide logs please when you output to external device

Adb shell dmesg
Adb shell logcat
Thanks

Edit: in future I won't be requesting from users.
Users reporting or complaining about issues from stock or this kernel without logs will be ignored, no log = timewasting

Pushing the GPU clocks any higher is impossible, I have already tested this our devices are incapable of supporting the voltage and freq for higher clocks. Regarding CPU Yes clocks have been pushed higher and can be pushed higher but we have a limitation. There's a reason why the Increase in performance is not linear, this is due to band with limitations, and I have already checked, its impossible to increase RAM speed. This is why I have removed 2.5Ghz clock speed, there is no benefit, just overheats the device more quickly and drains battery due to high voltage requirement.
True performance gains will be noticed on a custom ROM as I will be changing kernel for custom ROM, while benchmarking the CPU hits low power core a lot I have noticed, If using power save mode then 2 CPU Cores are active and the SOC is limited.

Could you enable /proc/last_kmsg in the next version of the kernel? My Tegra Note has been freezing entirely shortly after unlocking sometimes, and when it happens my computer doesn't recognize the tablet at all, therefore making it impossible to pull the system log. Perhaps they are saved to /proc/last_kmsg however, which would mean I'm able to post that log.

I haven't disabled last_kmsg, if an error occurs and system boots, make sure you have USB debugging enabled, adb pull /proc/last_kmsg
