That said, I'm not really interested in adding stuff to improve custom ROM support.

i thought the del.dog link had the error, but guess it's not complete.
Anyways, i was just trying to avoid an extra step of flashing the kernel on top of the rom, guess i will just flash it.

The errors in your link really don't look like the real errors. If they are, then it's just the compiler being used to compile the kernel. I use GCC 8 to compile this kernel. Whatever version of clang that Google's using should work too.

From somewhere in Japan, I have uploaded a new build with CPU boosting on app launch! Apps launch at a good speed now.
I made a derp in the previous build that resulted in slightly worse screen-wake performance, so I've uploaded another build from the future with the regression fixed.
