So between elemental X, Stock and Sultan kernel. Which one is the best guys ?
how about if you find out for yourself. I find it extremely impolite to do public comparisons between different kernels. everyone should find out for themselves. Especially since it also depends on whether you need certain functions or which apps you use.

Hmm. My daily used an normal routine ( fb messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, news) no video games. I turn on AOD, 90hz, switching wifi and LTE, always keep Bluetooth and location on. But my device can reach only to 5h-5h30 on screen. I think it is not really good

Play Genshin, the phone goes off quickly. Strongly in heat and shut down with warning. :(:(

What ROM are you using, and did you make any modifications to kernel settings? A friend of mine plays a lot of Genshin with my kernel and never faced any overheating...

If you forced the GPU to run at a higher speed then I could see that causing overheating.

Full stock ROM, February update. The kernel is also the default as you configured.

Was your phone plugged into a charger at the time? How hot does your phone normally get on stock when playing Genshin compared to my kernel?
The phone did't charge. As I installed your kernel, I noticed the phone began to get hotter, even when watching YouTube. And it began to discharge faster. Now the stock core is fine.

Can you install my kernel again and get me some logs?

Please do the following:
1. Install my kernel
2. Turn on your phone and unlock it
3. Do not use your phone for 5 min after you unlock it
4. Quickly hold both volume buttons and the power button. Your phone will vibrate and it will collect a bug report.
5. After 1 min, you will get a notification to share the bug report. Choose to share it with Gmail and email it to sultan@kerneltoast.com. It has some sensitive info so don't upload it publicly.

After you send it, just switch back to the stock kernel while I take a look at your bug report.

OK! I'll do it in the evening. Should the screen be on? Did I get it right?

If that doesn't work you should wipe your phone in recovery and a second time through the settings menu. Restrict apps.. disable unwanted apps. Stock and sultan are godly and I recommend everyone to wipe clean twice before installing this. I only have 3 magisk modules but I do some occasionally gaming.. no issue whatsoever.. the only time it's gotten hot is due to the weather outside 😁

I never limit anything on the phone. Everything is good on the stock core! And I will definitely not dump the data. There is no time to restore everything later

This is a no-frills custom kernel for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL designed to be used with the stock ROM and custom Android 11 ROMs. It's intended to be a simple replacement for the stock kernel that brings several under-the-hood enhancements. This kernel is not meant to be customized by users.

Changelogs for each update can be found in the 2nd post of this thread.

    Features:

    • Full real-time preemption (PREEMPT_RT), which makes the kernel as responsive and stutter-free as possible
    • Compiled with GCC 12.1 from the Arch Linux repository
    • Built with Link Time Optimization (LTO) for improved overall kernel performance
    • Built with Dead Code Elimination (DCE) to shrink the kernel's size by removing unused code
    • Removed lots of excessive bloat (improves security and performance)
    • Simple LMK, a custom low memory killer that improves memory management
    • Optimized CPU frequencies and EAS energy model for improved performance and battery life
    • WireGuard, a next generation secure VPN tunnel
    • Passes SafetyNet bootloader unlock check
    • Improved gaming performance
    • Improved overall system fluidity and graphics performance
    • Improved stability
    • Many other miscellaneous improvements not listed here

    Credits:
    • zx2c4 (for WireGuard)
    • osm0sis (for AnyKernel3)
    • kdrag0n (for quite a few useful commits)
    • If your name should be here and it isn't, then replace my camera with a OnePlus 3

    Installation instructions:
You can flash this kernel normally in TWRP, LineageOS recovery, or Franco Kernel Manager.
