Is this compatible with cyanogen based rom? Tried it but got stuck at the boot animation.

That's why I mentioned in OP that it's for Stock firmware only ;)

Ooh, I see you disabled Z-Ram on this bad boy. That should be a nice boost in performance for extended use since things wont be getting pulled in and out from swap. :good:

I never liked zram anyway. I could stand it on Samsung firmwares as their setup is memory hungry. But on pure google firmware as on nexus, I don't really find it useful at all

Thanks for the kernel back in S4 days. One question, you plan on adding swipe to wake and sleep gestures?
Sincerely I still don't have a clear todo list. I just first wanted to have a base build noticeably better than stock to be considered as a milestone, which I think is the case of this 1.0 !
Even if I got my nexus a few days ago, this build gave me a waaay better experience compared to stock.

Dude...used the hell out of your kernel in the s4 days!!! Super glad to see you here brother...just 1 request if it's not too much to ask...could you add sound controls to the kernel...need to boost the headphone volume.

Aside from that, this kernel is running super well...good deep sleep really smooth, and snappy! Thanks for your wonderful kernel man!!!

- Changes and tweaks for better performance & battery life

Always glad to see experienced Developers making new projects for my device so thanks :)

one question though, the above quote from the op is cool and all but I like to look at the code and see what the devs did. And your merge notes aren't that complete shall we say hehe. Could you possibly point out the commits you made to improve performance and battery life? Thanks!
