You mean stock rom? The kernel is included in the update package, so you don't need to do anything before installing the rom. After installation, however, you need to reinstall Kirisakura.Do I need to flash stock kernel if updating to a new ROM build? Thanks
So if OTA update comes, I just need to restore factory image from Magisk, install update, and then install magisk on inactive slot and reboot to keep root. Is that right? Thank you.You mean stock rom? The kernel is included in the update package, so you don't need to do anything before installing the rom. After installation, however, you need to reinstall Kirisakura.
That's a lot more than I do. I disable the magisk modules, install the already magisk-patched system image via pixel flasher (no wipe) and then enable the modules and install Kirisakura. All in the active slotSo if OTA update comes, I just need to restore factory image from Magisk, install update, and then install magisk on inactive slot and reboot to keep root. Is that right? Alright. But I mean will my steps above work too? That's a lot more than I do. I disable the magisk modules, install the already magisk-patched system image via pixel flasher (no wipe) and then enable the modules and install Kirisakura. All in the active slot

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work
not on pixel 6/6 proA question, when I wanna flash this kernel can this just be done or do I have to start clean and start with disable-verity
I think there's links to free ones at first I didn't understand it all and couldn't find the free APK and accidentally bought it.
Sounds like some work because I don't know if magisknwill install to next slot I haven't checked . I just plug my phone into PC and use pixel flasher it's a goddess of a software . I like to look on Google flash tool to see what rom choices there are then google the code to get the link to the Google downloads page for it and download the firmware file and open it in pixel flasher and click extract and patch boot and select it and flash rom and boot image. So if OTA update comes, I just need to restore factory image from Magisk, install update, and then install magisk on inactive slot and reboot to keep root. I also am noticing better battery life and thermals are like 2 Celcius lower at times. I l log the battery level and mah drain every 3 kind using 3c toolbox. Thanks Mr Dev and thanks for responding about battery saver and that kind of info. I tried to use clean slate to make vibrations stringer and it didn't work. Can you add vibrations strength so it appears in like fkm.Can someone explain me how single developer is achieving better results with his kernel than entire google company?
What's pushing Google's back? I'm getting way way better thermals with this kernel, better battery life, faster charging, more responsive phone and more reliable notifications.
I bought my Pixel 6 on preorder( very bad idea btw) because I smashed my previous phone. I hated it since first(feeling like I was a free beta tester) week, but this kernel is changing everything.
If you check the Cleanslate thread on XDA there's a free and a paid version.
Install to inactive slot after OTA doesn't work correctly for most users on pixel 6 devices and causes bootloops. So if OTA update comes, I just need to restore factory image from Magisk, install update, and then install magisk on inactive slot and reboot to keep root. Is that right? Thank you.
No, no support for beta firmware from my side. Please search the thread it's been answered multiple times.
Sweep to sleep does not cause any additional battery drain. The touchscreen is enabled anyway.Neither CleanSlate app really offers up anything id use, just in case people are wondering if you "need" them.....you dont...
All that swipe to sleep stuff is just giving up battery.....i like my electrons to stay in one side of the battery as long as possible, thanks
As an aside, you may wish to try this (aggressive) doze profile magisk module i use (same settings as in the TeMeFi app from here:

[APP][TOOL] TeMeFI comprehensive system Administration
TeMeFI This app provides/returns a bucket load of information regarding your device and the currently running ROM, and much, much more. And hence the name "TeMeFI"; as its Too Much F????? Information. The F stands for whatever your comfortable...forum.xda-developers.com
I just put the settings into a module for myself, havent shared it before now
Additionally the module also disables phenotype.service.sync.PhenotypeConfigurator to stop Android from resetting the device_idle_constants settings so that the Doze settings stay set
And yes, i still get all my notifications, but ymmv...if you have an issues, dont PM me about it, remove the module and reboot...the beauty of magisk modules...
Adjusting vibration strength works fine on my end via the Cleanslate app. FKM does not support the endpoints.I also am noticing better battery life and thermals are like 2 Celcius lower at times. which rom is that? sorry for off-topic but I need those iconsOh ok op I just tried it again this time using save and still nothing it's the same vibrations level. How do I get a log for you . I'm on p6.
I tried the clean slate companion aswell and it didn't help

I read the previous replies in the forum... Thought some thing might have changed so was just confirming if the kernel works actually on QPR even if it is not supportedNo, no support for beta firmware from my side. Please search the thread it's been answered multiple times.

Same for the other features. It's negligible.
I appreciate you sharing your settings with the community, but the nightmare about missed notifications is you might not know, until it's way too late. Always tricky.

Make sure to hit the save button in the CleanSlate config app, after enabling the setting and adjusting the override strength.
Hi everybody!
Tell me please, is that kernel solve the problem of battery drain in standby mode Pixel 6 pro (to 20% battery drain after night)?
If not, tell me please what will helps me (firmware, kernel, magisk module) if I have already tried disabling various standard features and optimizations in the android system (disabling 5G on 4G, battery optimization, etc.)
What kernel manager?@Freak07 - Updated to latest Lineage (which i believe contains the latest March 23 update) on my Pixel 6:-
LineageOS Downloads

But receive the following error when flashing (im flashing for the first time and currently have stock LineageOS Kernal installed which is pre rooted using Magisk 'delta':-
Kernel Flasher just exits when i attempt to begin flashing this Kernel
thanks, I missed that before.
