probably not, as grapheneos doesnt let you install magisk
Random reboot several hours after update to latest kernel when using Chrome.
Edit - log attached.
Thanks for the logs. There's involvement from the GPU driver. But in the end it's an issue with memory allocation.Suddenly P6P reboots while using different apps, Stock FW March QPR2. Logs are attached
Sudden reboot browsing web, Pixel 6, stock firmware, March QPR2
Logs attached
Thanks for the logs as well! I'll look into it.@Freak07 I have been getting random reboots daily on my P6P. Here is my latest log.
That's only true if you re-lock the bootloader. If you choose to leave it unlocked you can install magisk just like normal.
idk go for it if u want but no one here is liable if ur phone explodesThat's only true if you re-lock the bootloader. If you choose to leave it unlocked you can install magisk just like normal.
Almost 3,000 posts. If it wasn't good on battery life, would there be this much interest and usage? It's outstanding.
beautiful kernel, my phone runs cool and has long battery life with itAlmost 3,000 posts. If it wasn't good on battery life, would there be this much interest and usage? It's outstanding.
idle drain should be the same or at least very very similar in kiri and stock.Comparing to stock March kernal p6 I am getting higher idle drain but much lower screen on drain. Why Is this lol. Not sure which kernal to use then. Hehe. It shows 5 to 8 percent with kiri screen on drain and 11 with stock but idle is 1.5 kiri and 0. 8 stock kernal. I gotta work out which is better suited to me then more idling or more sot lol. Why is this dev.
You should find out which app hogs CPU on your deviceSomething I don't understand, is why do custom kernels even have different governors and frequencies? Obviously we can't set them and the phone itself doesn't even throttle right. Most of the time, my phone will be too hot to hold and I will go into kernel manager and see that the CPU is still hitting max and so is GPU
That's not the issue....throttling should be taking place, regardless of usage to cool cpu down

If you push the phone, e.g. by opening apps it will push to max freqs for a brief period of time. That's how it's designed. That's not the issue....throttling should be taking place, regardless of usage to cool cpu down
Guess I'm not making since, what I mean is, and its all pointless because we used to be able to mess with thermals to force better throttlingIf you push the phone, e.g. by opening apps it will push to max freqs for a brief period of time. That's how it's designed.
If you don't want the phone to use the highest freqs use the Cleanslate battery saver.
If you don't touch your phone and it stays on max freq 100% of the time, something (app/service) is hogging CPU.
This is complete nonsense. This kernel will derp your installation for any other kernels including the original boot image. Conservative requires a higher min CPU locked frequency than 300mhz so it is necessary as schedutil is a jumpy sob. Sometimes, we'll find schedutil is tuned to only select specific frequencies like maybe 3 because the other frequencies are less efficient. I encourage everyone to experiment with plain schedutil as well. Temperatures can be high as well when kernel boosts to 1.8Ghz the max boost freq. Basically hibernate any programs and check task manager for any processes that stick out, then check to see if load looks like nothing is happening maybe your only consuming 180ma.
