-This kernel was built for the Galaxy S6 SM-G920F for Samsung Touchwiz 5.1.1/6.0 ROMs-

/!\ Flash it at your own Risk /!\
/!\ By flashing this Kernel you void your warranty /!\
/!\ This will break Private mode because it disables Secure storage /!\
/!\ I don't take any responsibility for any Damage /!\
/!\ Do not try it on any other Galaxy S6 variants unless you know what you are doing. /!\

This is a stock kernel built from Samsung sources, Rooted with the latest Supersu, SeLinux set to Permissive mode.
No plans to keep updating this kernel with any extra feature (uv/oc, sound, screen hacks...), i will keep it stock with a few power efficiency tweaks.

Features:

  • Built from Samsung kernel sources
  • Knox free
  • Busybox (/system/xbin)
  • Built with Stock Toolchain 4.9
  • SELinux set to Permissive mode
  • Some Perf and Power Management improvements
  • Enabled FHA for Ram management
Download (3.0+ supports Android 6.0.1 Roms only).

Download (2.0+ supports Android 5.1.1 Roms only).

How to install on 6.0.1:
- Flash an old boot-loader then Twrp through Odin (Twrp is not yet compatible with new boot-loaders)
- Flash the kernel zip file then SuperSU trough Twrp recovery

- Flash back the new boot-loader
and reboot

The old and new boot-loader are available on many xda rooting threads, so just try to use the search feature.

How to install:

Flash the zip file trough TWRP recovery

If you get any adb issues, try @Orginator workarround.

g920i

This works on the g920i. I know its for a g920f but the deep sleep issue looks to be cured after flashing this kernel.

:)

Thanks so much.

I also had an issue with SuperSU so uninstalled and re-installed SuperSU. This screwed up my deep sleep again. Fix was to re-install the adam kernel again. This fixed deep sleep again. So pretty clear cut fix for now.

Thanks

Yes it does ☺

No plans for it, i prefer the stock for now, Samsung did a good move by removing a lot of bloats, remaining ones can be easily disabled.

Yes, it should work.

Running it right now on xtrestolite on international version

My phone's touch doesn't detect more than 2 points...can be a bug of your kernel? I'm gonna try to flash stock kernel and see...

Edit: i didn't know where to find stock kernel and flashed the other kernel avaible for g920f and multitouch test still doesn't detect more than 2 points. Not related to your kernel so.

Edit2: flashed again rom and it's ok now!

New update based on PB8 sources has been posted, it includes the same modifications as the old releases.
This update does not include Root, so if you need it install system-less SuperSU after flashing the kernel.

    How to install on 6.0.1:
    - Flash an old boot-loader then Twrp through Odin (Twrp is not yet compatible with new boot-loaders)
    - Flash the kernel zip file then SuperSU trough Twrp recovery
