kernel displaying as unavailable is explained in the FAQ in post #3.previous kernel for *.185 some minor issues such as :-
1.) squeeze trigger for flashlight sometimes work and most of time not (failing rate 65-75%)
2.) zram feature totally dead (some users do still prefer to keep the zram feature when not gaming with flexibility to switch to better multitasking even though knowingly zram using extra cpu).
3.) bluetooth earpiece control (gaming mode, volume up/down) not able to work correctly most of the time with failure 70-87.5%.
4.) battery draining seems like extra 13-17.5% than default kernel.
the latest kernel for *.192 still with issues such as :-
1.) better battery consumption than previous kernel with slight improvement at 7.5-10% comparing to stock kernel.
2.) TOTALLY not displaying kernel info (was not having such issue with previous *.185 kernel with everything displayed flawlessly).
* squeeze trigger for flashlight working flawlessly with 0 failure on this *.192 kernel
infact, i did flash it via fkm and twrp 3 times each after restoring the backup kernel stored in fkm. i don't think it's a coincidence nor bad luck after 6 time of flashing.kernel displaying as unavailable is explained in the FAQ in post #3.
squeeze and bluetooth volume control has nothing to do with the kernel.
there were also no changes in the kernel in the latest update, that could either impact squeeze or battery life.
All of those are not kernel related and something else is happening in the background.
Seems Asus ZRAM script doesn´t get triggered correctly after my kernel is flashed for whatever reason.
Updated kernel.zips are attached to this post. Just flash them and ZRAM should be either enabled or disabled depending on your choice for ZRAM in developer options.
asus checks via regex for the kernel string the entire firmware was compiled with. if you flash any kernel, that wasn´t originally compiled with the entire firmware package this check will fail (due to the kernel version being inevitably different) and you will see unavailable.infact, i did flash it via fkm and twrp 3 times each after restoring the backup kernel stored in fkm. i don't think it's a coincidence nor bad luck after 6 time of flashing.
note : previous kernel of *.185 doesnt have such "kernel info can't display"

Yes, every version of the kernel has shown as "Unavailable" in Settings. You are mistaken. And also, it's not a problem. It's just cosmetic as is mentioned above.infact, i did flash it via fkm and twrp 3 times each after restoring the backup kernel stored in fkm. i don't think it's a coincidence nor bad luck after 6 time of flashing.

no idea about it but for sure the previous kernel I've flashed on my device does indicate kernel info. anyway thanks for help and the work of the kernel for the community. the performance and buttery smoothness totally undisputable with noticable difference of 30-45%.Yes, every version of the kernel has shown as "Unavailable" in Settings. the zram option doesnt seems to be working after flashing this custom kernel but i could toggle it on via fkm. anyway, thanks for your hard work to bring such wonderful custom kernel.Update to 1.1.1_R
Hey guys and girls,
So here´s the next update.
The kernel is now made for the firmware 18.0410.2201.196. Please make sure to update to this firmware before flashing the kernel to avoid potential issues. You can always flash the previous kernel, before I find time to update the kernel with the latest source, just don´t report issues if you decide to do so.

ZRAM is now created, when the setting developer options is enabled.
More details in the changelog below and on GitHub as usual.
I´d advise everybody to read the instructions in the OP and follow them. They are written for a reason, because they ensure everything will be working as expected.
Kernel is made for the latest stock rom from Asus, you must update your phone to the most recent Asus update, before flashing the kernel.
Enjoy!
Changelog:
- update f2fs fsck patch, to match new stock kernel version from .196 firmware
- fix ZRAM being disabled, despite setting in dev options enabled
I wish you all a nice day/evening!

To make use of the CleanSlate features you need to download both CleanSlate Apps:
Please take a look at the CleanSlate thread for CleanSlate features. On the CleanSlate thread you will find links to both apps, companion and configuration app, to control the CleanSlate features.
If you use the CleanSlate features and benefit over time, maybe think about giving something back to @tbalden and purchase them from PlayStore.
Have fun, enjoy the kernel and your phone.

will it be possible to include tcp congestion control such as westwood+ into the future release? would be great too if i/o scheduler such as zen or fiops to be included in near future too. your kind consideration will be much appreciated. thanks and keep up the good work.
Thanks for this update. I have an issue to report. When I l'm trying to cast my phone to a TV, my device randomly restarts, between 1 min - 5 mins.Update to 1.1.1_R
