Pepsy is a custom kernel that improves battery consumptions and performances. It's based on LineageOS's kernel to ensure the best stability. It has a lot of improvements made by various legendary XDA developers. I will ever prefer quality over quantity, so do not ask for useless features. And do not forget to drink a PEPSY!

INSTALLATION

First time install:
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Flash the kernel zip
Flash Magisk (optional)
Wipe cache and dalvik (optional)
Reboot

Updating the kernel:
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Flash the kernel zip
Wipe cache and dalvik (optional)
Reboot

Coming from another kernel:
Dirty flash your ROM or flash the boot.img only
Flash the kernel zip
Flash Magisk (optional)
Wipe cache and dalvik (optional)
Reboot

Already using AKT and a lot of services disableds and my battery isnt good, normal use with 4~5h SOT.

Booting on miuipro 7.9.21....

Bugs:
1. I had to disable 3D Touch to scroll the pages in launcher...it was launching the 3D touch immediately and quickly...

Today morning I installed the kernel on my mi5s xiaomi.eu rom version 7.9.21 almost everything is working smoothly except 2things
1. 3D touch
2. Doesn't work automatic night mode

The inbuilt MIUI Reading mode/night mode will never work unless xuaomi releases source code so don't expect it to ever work with custom kernels

Just flashed it. So far so good. Will test it with some bluetooth gadgets tomorrow No OC I am fine with coz I don't really need higher Ghz. I'd actually underclock (and undervolt too if I had the chance). 3D touch I actually turn off manually every time I go back to a MIUI rom

Currently using the Impulse governor, maple scheduler and I've also turned on Lazy plug with a balanced profile.

Any recommendations about different governors on the small and big cores?
