had no luck with replacing bcmdhd.ko, wifi still not working

tried from rom after flashing boot.img and also from recovery with adb push

You haven't set permissions after replacing? Set it same as other files in system/lib/modules... Root explorer can do that.

Other than that, it must work. I also use luxv4.

If that fails, you can use my compiled version (but I highly doubt that's the issue), I've removed system write protection:
