Ya till 50% of battery everything is fine! I used dt2w and s2w but when the battery goes down than that.....rarely i face this screen freeze issue! Which is annoying...due to this one thing i wouldnt like to flash any other kernel!

I had same issue on cm11..... Try to Complete wipe rom and Install Kernel Again... That May help for SURE!

The screen freeze bug is still there with dt2w or s2w...sometimes the screen freezes when the device is not used for sometimes....plz fix it

since many ask for a fix , im telling u the reason for the problem.

the root cause is manually (forcibly) switching the touch sensor on and off , which fails sometimes following no regular pattern (thats how our touch screen driver works).

one solution would be to stop manual switching , which means the touch sensor never sleeps even when proximity is covered which is not good for our phone.

i wud like to fix this and also working on it , the fixing progress involves a blind approach and a blind intuition and a blind commit , testing requires a lot of time .

Take your time bro.....all we want is just stability and as far my experience goes on alpha kernel!! have been using this from its previous kitkat builds....had the same screen freeze issue but one of your update fixed it!! hopefully you'll be able to do it again! in case of testing any of your trial builds to fix this screen freeze issue! just let us know!

The battery backup is just amazing with this kernel.
I am on a CM12 05/03/2015 build with the alpha ROM
Standby: 14hrs

Everything is simply amazing! But yes you face SCREEN FREEZE ONLY WHEN THE SCREEN WAKE FEATURES ARE TURNED ON if you dont use it...then its perfectly fine! Battery is pretty better off for now! With good performance:thumbup:
