Already getting better battery life than stock CM kernel. I absolutely hated it. I was tempted to port a version of Franco's kernel to the S3 with similar features but I just never got around to it. Normally by the end of the day barely using my phone I would be around 30 or 40 percent but right now I am at 73 percent. I support your future endeavors with development for this kernel

Would you mind posting the default Ondemand tunables? I am just asking because I am affected by the startup scripts defaulting to interactive and cfq. The script shouldn't load it's own default tunables correct?

No startup scripts are included in my kernel. I do things slightly different ;)

My guess would be:

Check /system/etc/init.qcom.post_boot.sh and look for the lines under the msm8960 section for "interactive" and "cfq". Either comment them out or remove them and then save the file. Easiest way is with a root file explorer so it can perform /system mount for rw. After that, just reboot and you'll default to ondemand/row.

Alternatively, you can use any kernel app to perform on boot changes. Apps like SetCPU and Trickstermod should work just fine.

Unless he just recently fixed it, it worked fine for me.

+1 on BMS & Carbon. This kernel is fantastic work. I'm UC'd and ridiculously fast/smooth and batt efficient. Thanks. Happily following. :)

I'm wondering why there aren't more ppl here!? They will kick their own butts once they flash and give it time to settle...lol. I know I'm not going anywhere except to work.:sly: I'm at 1566 max 384 on demand, row using Trickster Mod and all good, settings stick on boot and very fast.....I won't be flashing for a while.
@GideonX What's BMS stand for if you don't mind me asking.... Just curious...
