yup, no touchscreen. although the end result is more or less the same. xbmc is probably the best app for a tablet imho. it works great with every other kernel i've tried. however, no other kernel allows UV but this one.
At first, congrats and thanks for the kernel. Great work.
Now a issue, a device issue:
I try use a hard drive WD My Passport 1Tb with a USB OTG cable, but doesn't work.
In my Moto G XT1033, Kit Kat, unroot, works perfectly.
I already try the stock, CM11, CM11 Infected, ParanoidAndroid and Madhi (including with dyn kernel), but nothing.
I already try another hard drive, with a external power source, and nothing.
Looking the dmesg log, I found this:

Is this possible to fix, by rom or kernel?
Someone already could use a hard drive?
can you port ROW scheduler into your pure build? dev seems elsewhere for time being.
also, you said some other governors i/o. schedulers don't work? any idea which ones or will it be apparent? maybe pure dyn w/o touch boost WITH fast charge most ideal! can you add fast charge to last one?

thx for explanation. yeah, I don't think I care about touchboost; isn't that what governor is for anyway. just wish we had more governor choices (e.g. lionheart, smartassv2, etc) but not a deal breaker.
i don't think fast charge is working; at least, i set it and plug into usb connected to computer; still shows charging (usb) and MTP shows up.
OT, but I hate MTP; always hangs explorer, far slower than usb mass storage stack and which totally negates a fast class 10 card... and nothing that we can do about it. thankfully, OTG and usb sticks work great.

Though I am not sure my port of fast charge 100% works, I am definitely certain that fast charge wont disable storage anymore in new version.
You can compare the charge speed between on and off. Of course it will be slower than using any charger as USB2.0 only provides 500ma current(USB3.0 900ma).
yeah MTP sucks, I have no choice but to take the no more than 9MB/s speed of my adata U1 sdcard, if I dont have access to a card reader.

Borrowed a OTG cable from my friend and test it with my G pad.
I only have USB2.0 drives with ntfs/exfat/fat32 file system(U disk/2.5' external hard drive).
NTFS and EXFAT works properly. FAT32 cannot mount automatically. But mount manually with no-fuse by typing "mount -rw -t vfat /dev/block/sda4 /storage/usb" (adjust "sda4" and "/storage/usb" to other file/folders if they don't exist). Maybe it is a issue of CM's fuse.
what is the "fuse"? see:http://fuse.sourceforge.net/ and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filesystem_in_Userspace
Sorry of the digression.
Which file system is running on your hard drive? Are you testing your G pad with USB2.0 drives?

I have a very abrupt announcement for you. I will discontinue publishing my kernels on xda because of a simple reason: I don't have enough time any more.
The constant forum participation, making (kinda) stable builds and testing became too much extra work for me. In addition to that I am starting my first bigger Java/Android project. So I must make this decision to have enough time for my hobbys and college.
I have a feeling that I will come back with something different from userland
dag... now it's really a kernel dev ghost town here, stupid GPE version. are thy getting this tablet for 225 bux? im just surprised the popularity isnt larger given price vs performance.

This is very sad news... For me it was the best working kernel with Mahdi-Rom.
Very endurenduring battery life and enough speed. I would wish, someone could continue this wonderful project...
But to you i wish the very best in Life, thanx again - i will stay with Dyn 4 as long as possible ?

starting to feel effect of no touch boost. do you have a sort of list or working memory of what works in this test build? such as cpu governors? not enough choices here.

I am on a CM nightly.
You need type su first to get root permission in console/adb shell. But I think it is useless because my NTFS hard drive doesn't need to mount manually.
Maybe it is because my harddrive uses less power?Have you tried Udisk? My friend's seagate USB3.0 is not working with g pad(0byte and no file)

starting to feel effect of no touch boost. do you have a sort of list or working memory of what works in this test build? such as cpu governors? not enough choices here.
I just add intellidemand and intelliavtive govs from faux123 because I prefer to use it to work with eco-mode/intelli-plug from he too.
But I think interactive is great as aventu did lots of work and tweak on it,it is the most suitable for our g pad.

Udisk is usb disk/ usb flashdrive/a small portable disk drive(sorry for my terrible English)
I dont know whether additional power will fix OTG issue, maybe it is a hardware related issue.(my friend's LG G2 cannot even recognize all of my harddisks/drives via OTG)
