Ok I'm on IC 3.0.7.
Will this kernel give me improvements on performance, battery or something?
Do you reccommend installing this kernel or not?

V5.0 has been released. please view OP to see changelog

enjoy
xXminiWHOOPERxX v5.0 Kernel
Nice! How come that in Sense Toolbox if I select haptic feedback when activating motion gestures, it still doesn't vibrate? Is that a Toolbox bug or Kernel related?

Anyway I appreciate your hard work. Keep it up!

EDIT: Never mind. It ended up being a Sense Toolbox thing. Since the Toolbox respects power saving settings, it wouldn't vibrate since it was disabled in power settings.

lockscreen

Does lockscreen need to be disabled for wake gestures to fully work? Gestures like Flashlight (no wakeup) and Play/Pause work fine. Gestures that wake and do something (blinkfeed, open an app, home screen, EVEN Wake up bypassing lockscreen) get hung up at the lockscreen.

Is there a setting that I'm missing?

I just thought i'd ask because I'm on an exchange policy and can't just turn off the lockscreen.

And...I know that i can install exchange hack, but i'm not going to do that, since I'm corporate IT...so that's my policy and i'm not a hypocrite. I can just live without wake gestures if they don't work with a lock screen.

Oh, and i'm not talking about bypassing entering the device password, either. Password is only required to be entered after 10 minutes of inactivity and this happens even when the device doesn't need a password.

Edit: ok. It's not related to lock screen or device password. I wiped and reflashed ic 3.07, reflashed boot_v6.img and still mlg only wakes device and won't unlock it. Any ideas? What am I missing?

It also happens to me sometimes (I use stock Sense 6 4.4.2 and v6 kernel). I try to unlock it by swiping up and it doesn't react. After multiple tries I might get it to wake the screen up but not to unlock by swiping up. Double tap to wake works most of the times.

v6 was bilals kernel with overclocking, app mount directories fixed and module fixes... no difference really. So if it wasn't happening with his then it wasn't happening with mine

I just flashed bilal's 4.4.3 kernel (with your 4.0.3 rom) and wake launch gestures DO bypass the lockscreen and launch apps.

When i was on your v6 Kernel (with your 3.0.7 rom), wake gestures would wake the device, but NOT get past lock screen.

That's just my experience, but it seems that something is different. Maybe ROM-related?

Bilals kernel had delay on MLG does yours have this to?
Gestures for things like flashlight and play/pause are pretty instantaneous for me.

Simple wake mlg is just as fast as tapping the power button.

Most other gestures like wake bypassing lock screen, or launch app are really fast to wake and then a slight delay as it bypasses lock screen, or launches the app.

Anyway, my point is...since some actions are instant, i don't think there's any delay with kernel recognizing the mlg...just a delay in the phone being able to do the task your requesting...like opening an app.

What ROM are you using?
