Probably wrong resolution or missing driver for the hub.
What is the model name of this USB hub? (maybe missing driver)
Did you test if it works with the stock kernel?
Also did you try to change resolution in Android settings?
And one more: in A2N app --> screen --> try to change resolution for Dex.

1- The hub has no name, it is a Chinese one. I clarify that when connecting it to the tv, (samsung tv 50) I do not have this problem. I attached a photo of it
2- I am going to try at this moment with the stock kernel
3- try changing in many resolutions and the same error is reproduced

OK alright, for sure missing driver for that hub.
Try to provide more info about the used chipset from that no-name hub.
With proper driver it should work.

Here you may need to test both, change resolution while USB-C is connected with the phone or try to change resolution in a2n while it's disconnected, then connect. Because I don't know how the sequence works exactly, since I don't have USB-hub and no Dex stuff. But maybe @rtyuakatsuki can help you fix this issue.

If that give second of image i was curious about the vga cable as i see in you picture you wajt to connect hdmi to VGA i think that the reason the image just while show and some of adapter using cheap chip for emulating the DP to hdmi

I think this adapter using lontium chip that kinda cheap chip for emulating the dp to hdmi and the high end is LT8711HE that the high end but that chip deliver aomerhing weird flash somwtime

It seems strange to me, when I connect it to the TV I don't have any flashes. This last adapter (white) worked fine with the monitor, but it doesn't work for me since I can't charge the cell phone

And what if you connect this "galga network" hub to your laptop and then connect the monitor, than works?

Fun fact: on their homepage they state that it's plug-and-play for Linux and compatible with S8 lol.

Still didn't find the chipset type. In the worst case you need to open it carefully and post a photo of the chip inside lol.

Or other idea: try to connect to a windows laptop and try to read the chipname from the used driver in driver manager.

You don't need to mess with power policy for GPU. Like I said it's done automatically. When you play any game, GPU will stay online all the time now. (I've fixed the issue directly in mali driver in kernel)
Once you quit the game, the GPU will go offline after 1000ms if no job.

598MHz cap still. When trying to go above it gives time in state issue. S8 GPU with A2N is faster

just flashed it, wiping cache and dalviks.. took exactly 30 minutes to optimize 351 apps and completing boot up.. i'll let it charge and idle for a while coz this thing is pretty hot right now

i noticed bootup is much faster and scrolling felt smoother and snappier, not sure if it's placebo..
i'm going to need extra juice for today since i'll be working mobile so this will be the perfect time to test the hotplug on suspend and endurance

Yes, it's all right, not placebo.
Boot CPU DVFS temp was increased from 65 to 75°C with the hope to need less time for compiling odex files. 30 min is still long somehow. I could try to increase temp even more, but the heat it's not good for the battery. (Over that long time)
And honestly I've added that hotplug feature with the hope to reduce battery usage while streaming music with the speaker with screen off, but even with hotplugged big CPU battery usage is still high. So i've to assume that the battery draining comes from the audio AMP itself, since it has a very powerful speaker.
